Mist, is the map pretty close? You can plan on 4 players. I like the idea of getting starting screenshots before choosing our leader/civ.

First draft will be up around early Tuesday.

Do you guys have any interest in banning GLH? Since it sounds like we'll be dealing with water, it might be a good idea just because it can be such a no-brainer.

Also - we never decided on AW vs AI-diplo only. I'd lean slightly towards AI diplo, but I'm cool with either.

There won't be enough water for circumnavigation, I don't think it'll be as strong on this map as you expect.

Yeah and AW also nerfs the GLH a bit.

I'm fine as well ... anyhows, i believe its AT that could use a helping hand the most given that i suscept that he would be the weakest player of the lot

As for the teammate thing - I'm not necessarily looking for a turn-playing teammate as I should be able to cover all the turns myself just fine. However, I of course always welcome anyone who'd like to ded-lurk and participate, so that offer is extended to anyone including Azza. But yeah, if you're looking to participate in a more active/turnplayer role, might want to check with AT.

I'd love a ded-lurker. I actually think a teammate in this game might be an impediment, though - too much communication. I doubt I'd have the chance to update more than once a day.
