Soliciting newbies for BtS PBEM / Tech Thread

I would prefer sticking with 5 teams, but 6 teams would be okay with me. So whichever way we decide, welcome to the game Do you have any comments or suggestions about the game settings? Still subject to change.

Settings look ok to me at least as far as I can tell, my experience restricts itself to friendly 4-5 people games.

If I can I would like to be my own team as the others.

just so you know Catwalk ... 5 players is rather hard to cook a good map for ... 4 and 6 is much easier

I don't mind 6 players, but if that's the case, Quick definitely seems like the best choice for speed.

Sian, would your map accomodate 6 teams? I think we would like to take you up on your generous offer, as noone else has responded yet.

will need a bit of reworking but in principle it should be able to handle the basic idea ... still ... its way easier to tweak it into 6 players than 5 players ... wouldn't dare trying to figure it out without alien geometry for 5 players, and the world editor doesn't like those beyond torodial (which will be used)

Gives me time to brush on my CivIV. In my first game I forgot to put archers into my cities, as you know cities defend themselves.

No worries, I think I will be fit in time for the game.:D

Unless anyone objects, I am pretty sure we would like to see our start before picking leader and civ. Is there any other input you need other than what has been stated in this thread? I have sent T-Hawk a request for a subforum.

Also, I would like to have confirmation from waterbat that he can commit to a lengthy game and will be able to play his turns reliably and speedily.
