Wow, Brick's some generous guy.
Now we have to assume everybody else also got stone (or marble) so it's not like we got a secure shot. Pyramids is good, but so expensive that it doesn't get interesting before t50 (quick speed) or so. Does GLH also get a stone bonus? Also the bonus is just 50% here.
Pros for mids:
- lots of food means we can sustain specialists (way better than in pbem65), and with cheap libraries we'll have the slots early
- also we have a lot of growth potential, so rep happiness would come handy. Do you think HR happiness generally exceeds Rep's? In my experience you generally don't have the units to give every relevant city 5mp (at least not early on) but that might be my insufficiency as a player
Cons:
- Fin doesn't love to work specialists,. The wonder for that trait is Colossus.
Btw did you notice that Sian has Stonehenge basically secured by everybody else being Cre?
Scout w of the cow next? Could also be a valid second city, although there's some point in getting that flood plains running asap. It hurts a bit being Fin, but we're still coaching those, righ? I do see two of the cap's riverside grasslands getting watermills though, especially if we go for MC reasonably early.
Border pop will give us some nice vision from the peak, so I think about W/S for now
