We're still four guesses short of a win, as is the blue team. We could do the trick of stating a preference and letting our spymaster steer us away from it if necessary. On the other hand, it's unlikely that we'll get more than one more turn, and a 4-clue is difficult to narrow down, as we've seen. I'm having a tough time with the fourth terrorist word; you could make a reasonable case for half the words on the board.

I`d rather take a gamble and go for either TORCH or FALL. If we end up passing we should probably try to tell Superdeath which way we are leaning.

I agree that we should gamble. We cannot win by playing it safe, and guessing one word now lets us guess the other word as our +1 next round, if we need to.

Dave leans FALL, I lean TORCH. Do you have a gut feel, JR4? (And does anyone feel strongly about BUG, which was the next most popular guess last round, I think? I've cooled on it, but maybe superdeath expects us to go there?)

My picks are BOX, LAWYER and CROWN in that order. I can see FALL but that is too close to Terrorist and should be left for the reds. The only other contender I can see is ROUND, which doesn't really fit but still seems better than anything else on the board.

I read an unreasonable amount about the UK Parliament back when Brexit was in the news, so I hope that's what this clue is referring to smile

'CROWN in Parliament' is a phrase I've to describe the UK legislative system.
A despatch BOX is the position from which parliamentary ministers give speeches.
Many MPs were LAWYERs, and Parliament certainly employs many lawyers on staff.
CROSS could refer to the Anglican bishops who have seats in the House of Lords, or that Parliament formally established the Anglican church during the Reformation.

Those are the four words that I think might've lead our spymaster to give us this clue in particular, and none others really stand out to me.

I think I like CROWN, BOX, and LAWYER most among them, in that order.
