I'm definitely going to need a pause. I had a problem with my computer this morning and so couldn't play and won't get to it till late tonight. And, of course, I'm in the 2nd half of a turn split and the person in the 1st half hasn't played.

I have just paused the game since there is both only 5 hrs left on the clock and because AT has requested that he will need one. With only this many hours left, and so many people still left to play, each person should keep it paused when they are not actively moving units. Since there seem to be so many wars right now with splits that appear to be causing issues, do we need for me to put the timer back to something like 30-48hrs or such for a while?

I can play on a 24h timer starting today, but since I'm on a turn-split, it might end up not working out.

Just play when you can, don't worry about the timer. We were on a 36 hour timer around this time in PB18, FWIW.

Looks like there are a lot of turn splits, so I'd be happy with doubling the timer permanently

I'm fine with longer turn timers, just to make sure we don't have to reload, as that will cost even more time I feel. Also it is obnoxious for those in wars if they have to constantly think about re-pausing as well, because time is running out.

Last night I extended the timer to 46 hrs, which would equate to roughly 48 hours. So after this turn, that would give 2 days for the warring world to complete their atrocities of destroying each other.
