all your cities within 2 of the coast need artillery and balloons. Rather stating the obvious there.

I will get a look at the save in the morning. Had to reinstall windows this morning so not had any time today.

Yeah you are right, I prefer buying the artillery with faith though as we do not get a multiplier on it. Isaac wiill get an Arty Army in 3 or EM need to send its over

depends if the walls can last 3 or 4 i suppose.

the other issue is he may be able just to rotate in another battleship. until those walls are down.

do we have any bombards left that could be shooting at the BS with balloon support?

We desperately need to get to advanced flight asap. or we will lose the skys even to biplanes and then our walls are toast. It's also the answer to all our problems with oil hopefully.

i wonder what CMMF is doing he could be protecting issac like a city state because he needs your culture.

or just scouting

Woden was either sloppy, did not account for Logistics or set a devious trap for me I had to take. He left his damaged BS Fleet in range of our Logistics enhanced Artillery.

I am worried because I do not know why he would not heal his BS one tile NW of that position, but I went in nevertheless to weaken him as much as possible here to be able to wheel around for the defense of Isaac if necessary.

AK rebels in one turn, I believe this to happen before Woden's turn which either means he retreats or he reconquers it. Hopefully one BS less will make this significantly harder and means he has to sacrifice some of his units.

Please note the Encampment EM is finally building as it gained its 16th population this turn, yay!

Ichabod has gotten Oxford and finished Combustion, Flight and Steam Power this turn. This is huge, as he is already building a Balloon in Rio and will finish it in 2. Woden has a significant part of his MP tied in Navy which does nothing to support any fights around their border.
My best estimate is that Woden has 140 - 350 MP in Navy (2 BS Fleets are confirmed, there is at least one Ironclad as well but I remember seeing more boats before), which puts him behind Ichabod in raw Army power.

We might be actually catching up to him in a couple of turns (next turn will be another 277 MP increase for us (2 FC, 2 PS, 1 Artillery Army) the turn after will be another 130ish so we should be able to get back near a 1000 MP again.
I will probably soon slot the Mounted card to get a needed Curassier for the Curassier Army as well as a bunch of Cavalry out to have a more mobile force we can later upgrade into Helicopters at least.

I worried about Isaac as well and decided to move our Curassier Corps in, it defense strength went up from 70 to 84, I hope I did not make another mistake here if Suboptimal can conquer the city next turn. I am actually quite confident that he cannot, especially with CMFs protection circle. He might not even be able to attack it with land units.

The Campus is protected by a PS now, which is easy pickings for his BS but it hopefully means that he will not attack Isaac instead which needs 2 turns to start deleting unsuspecting BS with the Artillery Army we are buying next turn.
The ME in Isaac will go on the tile SW next turn and then railroad it at the beginning of the turn after to allow the Artillery to move into Isaac, I hope I am not wrong here in my assumpttion that his railroading will build a bridge.

I believe I made another mistake last turn by placing my musket inside the Encampment, because he was able to kill it and destroy my encampment with a Scout. The encampment was on no life and the musket might have been killed as part of the razing mechanic.

Next Golden Age confirmed, we have at least 23 round more our HE which should be enough to bring us to Facism and Communism

I am hopefull to establish a more permanent Alliance with CMF from now on to keep a strong 3 player Alliance, but this might become difficult if we can succesfully push back Woden and Suboptimal.

I don't see how he can attack with CM sitting like that. Nice touch.

once you have artillery in there he will have to back off as well.

worth building 2 biplanes? for the eureka perhaps even to delete later?

or suicide a bit on battleships.

no one is even building an aerodrome yet. While I don't know that much about late game what I do know is if you take control of the sky's there is no stopping you.

Consider the bi planes. you can build more than your oil can support you just don't heal. Or you can suicide them on battleships while driving them off.

big issue would be where to build it. your engineer could do an airstrip but not sure how you get an aerodrome or whether an airstrip is enough to build

GM and EM ar the best places but far away from their next district. Steven newton would have a space for a strategically important Aerodrome and Isaac could make space for one. I will check location. I agree that it would be hugely benefical to get the Eureka by building 2 Biplanes. Maybe Ichabod is willing to trade me 2 Oil?
