Xenu: no, scooter was a great diplomat, he is level headed and calm. i am irrational and angry. it's why i don't win any of the games i play in. but since we're in the mopping up phase here i don't think i can do us too much harm now.

Aaaaaand 'Poly. There isn't much here, just saying hi and that I don't like CFC's face. Some conspiracy intrigue and an exhortation to burn our shrine later on since apparently that city is in CFC's sphere of influence.

yton apol: Hi, xenu. yeah diplomacy is kinda pointless at this point
Xenu: Well you never know. You guys could be really mean and leave us with one or two cities at the end of the war and make us press the red button until the end of the game.
yton apol: if it makes your team feel a bit better the 3 of us had about 8 -10 hours lenght arguing about how to divide the spoils which left bitter taste in most of us
Xenu: I hope that the result of the conversation is that 'Poly and CivPlayers get almost everything and CFC is left holding the bag. Death to CFC! (that's how I'm signing my forum posts now)

Xenu: I don't know what CivFr is up to, though. I guess it doesn't matter to us, but they were sneaky in attacking, too. I thought they should attack CFC's rear while they were after us, but oh well.

Xenu: You guys are doing pretty good, there's lots of nice cottages in the old Incan lands. Just don't let WPC get any of it, those guys broke a NAP to declare on us and now I'm holding a grudge.

Xenu: I have to go, good talking to you. One last thing, you mention that the three of you made a deal about dividing the spoils, that sounds normal. But if CivFr is a rogue agent in this process maybe the best thing they could do for both 'Poly and CivPlayers would be for CivFr to sack and raze our shrine city when the armies make it that far. I don't play turns so I'm not offering anything regarding our defenses. Our turnplayer is a stalwart sort and is defending to the last man. But when the shire eventually falls, it would be great if CivFr was the team to take it and burn it, to deny CFC the shrine income. If I catch their diplomat on chat I'll say it to them myself, but you know how they are with diplomacy. Maybe you can pass the suggestion on from us. Have a good day!

yton apol: thing is to ensure that all 3 of us make great effort to prepare for the war and do everything to win we agreed to deal fairly. razing the shrine is not an option, though we would had liked it

yton apol: maya will probably get nothing or they deal with civplayers as they invited them.. it is a mystery to us why
Xenu: Well they surely can't keep any cities so far from their homeland. I hope they're just here to deny spoils to CFC. Anyway, if you get a chance to talk to them maybe mention what we said to you about burning the shrine. We're still fighting everyone to the death, but Id prefer to minimize CFC's winnings because they've been jerks to us.

Jesus. They're giving CFC territory up to and including Mansa's Muse?

My conviction that they're trying their hardest to win and making very good moves to advance that cause is severely shaken. If they want to win, they need to take everything they can and tell CFC to bring it on if they don't like it. They started too far behind CFC to merely draw up to land parity and expect to win.

I thought CFC was going to get shafted sufficiently hard for the game to remain interesting well after our departure, but perhaps not.

Any thoughts about the draft to CivFr? No rush to send it out ever, but if we're going to troll them reply to their important diplomatic message we should do so quickly before they forget they've sent anything.
