I was reading through some old threads and saw it mentioned that bless protects from magician magical ranged attacks (adds shields). Is that so? I thought it wasn't...

It used to be the case, when magicians used Chaos element shots. But Seravy made them non elemental. As an aside, most magicial ranged enemies in the original Master of Magic fired Chaos element shots.

And one more question  I started a game with Famous and Artificer, thinking of getting some heroes going. I thought famous was supposed to have heroes from a higher tier show up or something like that. However, it's April 1409, and I got three offers: the Dwarf and the Barbarian, which I rejected, and then again the Barbarian which I finally accepted :/ And I freed a Beastmaster from an encounter. All of these require 0 fame ?! Mercenary and artifact offers = 0. It's true that most of this time I haven't had much gold, but still, is this normal?

Yes, that is normal. Having the extra 10 Fame doesn't actually guarantee getting the better heroes. This is a big part of why Famous is a weak retort unless you can boost it with things like Just Cause or rushing Colosseums.
Though I will note that if you want to make the most use out of it, you should try hoarding a lot of gold when you can.

Yeah, but Famous is not only +10 fame - it's supposed to offer heroes that *might* be at a higher level than normal, etc, plus double the chance for magical items, plus quadruple the chance for mercenaries. And I get is zero merchant offers and three heroes from the lousy type...
I guess the game doesn't make sense anymore, cause I wanted to play high elves on Myrror  (one retort lost there), plus another two retorts down from the Famous and Artificer...

When was there a chance for the enemy wizards to be 2 on each plain - on Master and Lunatic only?

I have notice that my warship and catapult that buffed by flame blade are no longer get +2 missile attack anymore after upgrade to 6.0.7. Is this intentional, or it is a bug?
Edited: problem seem to tie to rock type projectile, as galley get buffed on arrow as normal, same to slinger's bullets. Is it intentional to to make flame blade no longer buff rock? @Seravy

If I take both Famous and Charismatic, does the game check for hiring heroes, mercenaries and buying items at the original price, or the discounted price with Charismatic applied?

How mod random reward in node/lair/tower? Why some playthrough I get a lot of spells and some playthrough I get a lot of artifact? And what is rate for very rare spell to appear in lair/node/tower in game?
