PBEM 8: E-mail & Technical Issues

Looking forward to this map you've made us Tatan.

The lurkers like it - so I'm sure you guys will enjoy it . Except for the one guy who is completely surrounded by peaks and desert, but hey, the odds are 1/5 to get that spot so don't sweat it.

Can someone post the final turn order you guys agreed on? I want to be sure to put the teams in correct order.

Also, would this be a bad time to bring up the fact that I have no idea what to do with the worldbuilder file once I am done? Do I simply send it to the first player [WarriorKnight] and then they set the game up as a scenario? Or should I set the game up and then email the save?

On the bright side, after ordering the teams correctly I will be 100% finished with worldbuilding the map.

We have decided that the 3 US Pacific Time people will go:

meatbalz --> Shoot the Moon --> SilentConfusion

Cjreynol is a few hours later than Pacific Time, so I would think he should go right before us.

So does this sound good to people:

4.) Shoot the Moon
5.) SilentConfusion

This is obviously the worst for me since any ties on Wonder Construction or other races I will lose, but what can you do? Someone has to be last.

I believe that works out best Silent. Of course someone feel free to disagree!

And as to starting the game I'm not sure what to do when the map is made for you. I think starting it as a scenario but I certainly could be wrong

Unfortunately, I have as little idea what to do as you do. It would be best if you send me the first save so I can just load it up and play (not to mention that I'm not supposed to see what the worldbuilder file looks like). Although I can't help you get it into the save file.

Also, I've updated the first post with the new turn order and player email's. Shoot, you still need to post an address so we can contact you. Apart from that, is there anything anyone else wants in the first post?

I don't know about the starting save issue or PBEM tracker (is it like CivStats?). This is my first PBEM. I have no experience with these things. Perhaps someone who has done this before can help us.

Someone needs to act as an admin for the game and set it up. There are a few quirks but we have been using it in PBEM2 from pretty much the start. I find it a really useful tool.

PM Ruff about it since he set it up for us in PBEM2.
