i flipped back and forth two or three times on what would be the best place to settle that city, ending up admitting that a single clam just didn't cut it, when it didn't really have that much other than hills to work with ...

Next city is likely going to be #2 (dry corn, fish, clam, gold) which is going to be my NE city ... #4 is a viable contender as well since it'll give my naval access to the west ... not quite up to aiming at the jungle for cities inthere just yet (will wait till closer to IW,which i'm pondering about teching after Writing is in and Libs is built in at least LH)

finished teching writing and is now running 0% research while building Libaries ... whipped Granary in DBZ and started a Lib next turn, and exploring of the northen island (from the Workboat we built in DBZ) ... want a city up there so i started research on Sailing before IronWorking

going to turn Research back on 100% after LH built a Lib (DBZ doesn't give enough to make it worth it there) ... thats mainly for growing into scientists and whipping them, at least short term)

next city ... not really certain, either #2 to the SE (lots of lots of food), somewhere on the egde of the jungle (either north or south ... not sure) or on the islands ... depends

noticed something interesting when exploring the northen island ... Borders (Luddite or Nospace7 ... not certain, but it is yellowish ...well ... could be fierce but i'm not buying him being there with a city) ... no reason to sail all the way up their to say hi, letting him know i'm around so i'll hug the coast, rush to sailing to get a block city on the northen tip (helped by creative so its that much harder to sail around me) so i have the island by myself

built Last Exile on the northen desert on the northen island grabbing fish/clam/sheep/silver/marble (guess its Luddicator we're 'sharing it with, given that i found NS7 south of Yuri) effectively blocking it off for our personal use in 3 turns. (unless he wants to sign an open borders argeement which i'm uncertain i'm up for outright, or is willing to sail the long way down through the egde of Fierce and back up my access route)

over the last few turns i've moved the northen warrior 2n1w to scout even deeper into Fierce territory, since DBZ borderpoped again so i didn't need it that close to fogbust, and from what i can see i guess his cities is hugging coastline, and if it wasn't because he had that much in terms of armies, i'd be eyeing his southen tracts of lands for aggressive settling, but it'll probably open our flanks

finished IW at the end of the turn, and theres Iron in the two Jungle Areas ... next tech on my list is probably going to be hunting (2 turns, so we can finish the worker we're building in LH and go directly to Furs), and rush the Irons ... in the south i'm planing to settle on Phants (another happiness), with iron 1e and in the north i'm settling on #6 with iron 1nw.

a series of screens incoming next time save is around (forgot taking)

Plans:

Love Hina : finish Worker (to camp Furs, then help Air Gear) and grow while building military (a Spear and a couple of Chariots for mobile defense), till hitting happycap, which is going to grow (certainly furs and gold, prehaps phants and Silver as well)

DragonBall Z : Finish worker (to ship to Last Exile), and whip a Settler asap to settle northen Iron at location 6, followed by slowbuilding a Lighthouse, while growing to happy

Air Gear : finish workboat for southen explorations and build Lighthouse till size 4 and whip Settler, continuing with lighthouse and a Lib afterwards

Code Geass : Whip Granery, whip Libary, grow asap till Happycap (or size 6, whichever is lowest) and become shortterm workerpump, working Corn, Fish, Clam, Gold and two Scientists

Last Exile : Whip Granary, and build Woak boats ... or something ... probably knock out the other settler for this island as well at some point

Techs :

Hunting (can do it in 1t without problems) for camping
Mathmatics (better Chopping and Hammam)
Masonry (Hammam and Marble)

and then Currency/Calender

Defense should be enough with Axes, Spears and Chariots)

Compass is obviously not the tech to do, hence a placeholder (althrough i have no idea when i managed to press it)

got a trade suggestion from NS7, which smells of attemped bribe

Not going to take it through

fish and clams, i allready own, Wheat is linked up this turn, and Gold is linked up in 4 turns (unless i support building a road with another worker, cutting it down to 3), so practially its a OB (which honestly aren't 'that' important since i'll only get 2-3commence from it (+1 in one/two cities trading with their offshore city, and +1 in my own offshore city) since i have intercontinental trade routes with myself ...

I'm ready through to whip a spear and/or a axe sailing down there defending the city (settled next turn), which supported with the Creative cultural defense +% should be able to keep them off for the time being

Next turn i'm building a city down on our shared island with NS7, and a city snatching the northen Iron (we allready control the southen iron, with 3'd ring in Air Gear, looking at sending the next settler down to fortify the southen iron ... not sure if settling on 'Phants (longterm better) or Iron (more defensive on a hill, and not that much worse) is the way to go ... think i lean towards settling on the Hill not to give Yuri good ideas

took a new suggestion from NS7 this time around since they were able to prove their point by pointing a War Chariot at me, reloaded and are sailing west, towards either the Jungle between me and Yuri, or the small island just off the easten coast of Yuri (depends on what i see when getting closer)

... I might be brave but i'm not foolhardily stupid, ... at least i might have forced NS7 to waste a whip on the Chariot

landed on the smaller island with my Chariot/Settler party ... and found a lonely Settler from Yuri within sight ... going to be interesting how he reacts to that one, since i'm able to kill a protential city unless he have some defense power offshore, from what i can see he's hard pressed getting any Iron, and underexpanded (just as Fierce, our other neightbour ... guess i got lucky on the map), so he's certainly not the danger i thought he would be from earlier ... not certain what he've used the time on, which i've used for settlers and assorted military though, whereas i'm fairly certain Fierce have gone to heavy military, only just building city 4 ... maybe i should rush a city on my small westen coast, getting a Galley to their island since neither of them seem to have started expanding intercontinentally

i'll go on a limb guessing i'm safe from ending fifth or sixth, since neither Yuri of Fierce is breathtaking unless they drum up a lot of heat in no time

going to post a massive update next time the save is around but i got this interesting tidbit to chew on while waiting

unless anyone circumvate doing this turn i'm getting it at the beginning at next turn, by sending the WB into NS7's island city, and the Galley 2 north
