I really don't think tasunke scanned uber at all, but I didn't have time to argue so was willing to support jkaens reasoning there
Also sorry for gazglum/azza lynchs...particularly azza as I was loving your new play this game and really sad to be punishing you for it
Funny, every game I win I have to shut up in the endgame

I think the setup was a bit anti-town and am glad we overcame that.
Very happy with the hosting, (apart from the day 1 mishap which has doubtless been harped on about plenty in the lurker thread) and loved the writeups. Thanks thestick

As for the setup, it probably would have been scum favoured, if not for the "town/village" neighbour business that got Matt lynched and confirmed Novice as town on d1, and dual ability seer (Which forced us to kill Tasunke n2 because he could scan zak and immediately know he was scum)

Agreed, it became clear by Night 2 the Mafia was too powerful for the village. Especially the Jailer, shouldn't have been allowed to jail same target consecutively, and it should've been affected by the Martyr.

Probably should have gone with 'If Jailer and Martyr target the same person, the Martyring works and the target is not roleblocked. If the Jailer targets the Martyr, the Martyr is roleblocked and the target is not Martyred nor Roleblocked.' Which half nerfs Roleblocking, but then again, just kill the target.

That was definitely fun! Still have enough crazy ideas to want to host another game once the schedule clears up, assuming I haven't been banned from hosting anything ever again.

The day is here! I'm almost home! What's better than the sight of my warm and bustling village, the smiling faces of my kinsmen, and the company of others? Sis's wedding guests haunted my days, but the villagers have haunted my nights. Just earlier I saw the Welcoming Post. "Have fun or die trying," I remember when my dad first took me to see it. Those were the days.

I'm already at the market and a day's walk away from the village. Everyone I saw was smiling, with the warmth of love in their eyes. Or anger, I can't really tell. I hope it's love. They said nothing unusual happened while I's was out, yay!

I think I saw this in my nightmares once. Or was it Q's books? Whole town abandoned? Check. Houses not boarded up? Check. Strange silence? Check. stick telling me I don't live in a fairy tale? Not yet.

Anyway, time to start writing this stuff down in case I mysteriously die tonight, because that always seems to happen in these situations. First of all, all the houses I visited were empty. I can't even figure out where stick's house went. Then again, he was always going to be a goner... And also, there only seems to be one set of footprints on the snow. Azza's house has knives sticking in the walls, there's the remains of a giant bonfire in town square, Mattimeo's walls have 'DY U SCM' scratched all over them...

I'm staying in Qgqqqqq's house, since someone put all our papers here. Though I'm pretty sure those red stains are blood. Good thing my Circle of Light will ward off the ghosts!

I found a frozen fish, seemed to be preserved by the snowstorm last week. I was going to use the records for kindling, but they were actually interesting! First, Gazglum got elected Mayor! Gazglum, of all people! Turned out he left a bunch of notes and records of the place. So I burnt some of Q's old books on Vampire Hunting and ate the fish for breakfast.

Turned out we got infiltrated by the Mafia again. Great, now I need to keep a loaded gun under my pillow. I'm pretty sure the Mafia took everybody out, since that's always how these stories end.

Found Ryan! Never been so happy to see that bugger in my life! Then I'd been so confused to see him in my life. He was just wandering around town, talking to a skull. He told me 'don't call Azza just a skull! He's fine!' I asked him where Q went, but the weirdo only said 'he's gone to a better place.' Asked where he'd got food, madman said he lived off dark energy. Pretty sure he's beyond help. Too crazy to be Mafia though, so I guess we won?

Heading to the market again, running out of food. This book'll make me stinkin' rich!

Came back yesterday evening. Another snowstorm rolled in two nights ago. I found a bunch of diary entries in Ryan's house. Working my way through them - never new my kinsmen kept such nice spoiler books. Already done with Azza's, he just kept scrawling 'kill me kill me kill me.'

Found out Q skipped town! Can't let him publish his book before mine. I've got the diaries though, so all my writing's done for me. Hiking out to the train depot and catching the next train to the capital.

I'M RICH! HELL YEAH! Can't keep those guys away from my door! Rented a nice place in the capital and everything! Diaries sell, so I'm still going to write down whatever madness happens, since this'll bring in another golden egg.

Took a bit of time to edit the diaries. Had to toss out some of the junk, like everything by Tasunke and a lot of the Lewwrage. Took a bit of time to weave the diaries together to some coherency. Already got the title figured out, though. 'Diaries of the Madmen,' that's what someone marked the files, and it's sure got a nice ring to it.

Moon's full again tonight, just like when I left town. Funny how much changes in a month. Sure, everyone's dead, but I got more then enough charms. Circle of Light, Fool Tarot Card, Bulletproof Vest, Mirror of Truth... Mafia's probably gunning for me next, but lucky for me, I'm not planning on heading into anymore rickity villages. Nope, city life's for me. By the time the lynch comes to me, I'll have already skipped town. Besides, I'm pretty sure my villagemates are fine, Lewwyn's screaming 'LYNCH BIGGER!' loud enough to cross from whatever whacko world he's in. Nothing bad'll happen this lifetime, nope.
