FFH II PBEM I Tech Issues Thread

When my turn came from Cull, I assumed it meant Sareln was out of the game. Good game, Sareln; nice job surviving your near-death experience to outlive two of the other civs.

Cull: normally, that save would have come at a perfect time for me to play, but I'm working in the Central Time Zone this week, and couldn't play it this morning.

Heh, I guess that's it then. Good game all, it was a rather unique experience for me CIV wise playing from a position of weakness. Sorry I couldn't pay off all of the promises I ended up making ...

T200, and the exiting of yet another player from our happy band. Goodbye Cull. The dwarves walk Erebus no more.

The axeman looked up from the trampled workers' bodies to his sergeant.

"It was centaurs, all right," said the sergeant. "Charging out to kill defenseless road-builders, then racing back to skulk inside their city. Waiting for another uneven fight, no doubt." He spat onto the ground, where it had been churned by many hooves. "Cowards and bullies, all of them."

In other news, Kuriotates Ratmen are celebrating the successful implementation of their latest top-secret weapon of confusion.

Selling in all the Caledorian haute couture stores, now the enemy will never know where our CDF is located!

The messenger abased himself before the throne and its gigantic occupant.

"Some badly wounded Centaurs were sighted outside the city walls, Your Fearsomeness!"

"Send some Corpses to take care of them," replied Hyborem.

Hours later, the distribution of bandages and healing herbs was nearly complete.

"You know," said one of the observers, "when he said 'take care of them', I think he meant..."

"Do you want to go to the Boss to ask for clarification?" asked his neighbor.

Shortly afterward, the squad of Diseased Corpses emerged from a sally gate and approached the stricken Centaurs. After several minutes of ministrations, the Centaurs were just as healthy as their nurses. Which is to say, dead. Apparently undead units do not make good medics.
