+1 Zakalwe has really cooked up a great micro plan. Now just hoping all the other teams play along .

Thanks, and yeah, I also feel we've been getting great value out of our traits. If we land the pyramids we'll be in good shape.
After that, given our NAPs, I think the only thing that can really upset the micro plan is if someone builds the great wall. If that happens, we'll be missing out on a huge pile of failgold. Maybe we could do something similar with the Temple of Artemis, but that's a much more expensive wonder (350 hammers, vs. 150 hammers for the great wall), so it would require a more substantial effort to actually complete it in a timely manner.
Landing the pyramids is the crucial part, though, so fingers crossed.

In other random news, our trade routes with TEAM are two turns away from starting to yield 2cpt.
I have to run.

Sandbox T80: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/49396026/rb/tro...dSwordSave
The sandbox has 16 less beakers invested in Fishing than in-game. It will probably also be hard to keep the gold in sync now that trade routes worth more than 1 commerce/turn are kicking in.
Also, Caipirinha still has 3 hammers too many invested in the chariot in the sandbox. We can fix that by dumping a turn of production into a monument or something on T81 when playing through in the sandbox.
If you know what I mean.

That worker summit screenshot is very cool.
If you want to catch up in beakers, place some temporary gold resources on our cottages, and/or place some towns under our city centers. Cottages under our city centers are also a means of simulating trade route income, although you obviously need to pay attention as trade route income changes and as the cottages mature.
I have to run.

Thanks for the tip, I wasn't able to correct everything in just one turn, but the sandbox above is now much more accurate (down 1 gold and 2 beakers).
The extra beakers are nice, it means we have some margin for error and can probably work a couple more cottage turns instead of scientist turns somewhere down the line.

Old Harry on Gillette needs team input. I wonder what's up with that. If they were really going for the pyramids, why monarchy? Perhaps it's unrelated.

It sure looks a lot like Gillette got something to think about when we finished Pyramids, so they probably were building it. Maybe they were expecting to lose it and just collected gold and now were thinking what to do with it. As said Monarchy seems pretty odd, if you were expecting to land Pyramids.
