I've made a decision. Gavagai's turn pace is atrocious, and his head would look better on a pole hammer His GNP is also world worst at 24 nono Knight it is! er, maybe HA?!

I've also seen PBSpy combine a whip and new city into no report at all.

Gavagai built a galley on the sea to my north and flashed an immortal on the border frown hopefully he is just trying to keep me honest and not actually intending to attack. I whipped an archer in the island city.

Overview of the Christmas Goodie empire. 8 cities and 18 pop so just an average size of 2.25 pop per city. I have been whipping mercilessly and have 2-4 whip anger stacked ... whipping granaries and workers mostly. I've been plagued by lack of worker labor and have been whipping off of unimproved tiles, mostly working food resources and the few other improvements. Watermills were unlocked about 10 turns ago and I already have 3 completed (labor intensive at 8 turns/each). Now that I have 10 workers I'm going to back off on the whipping some. But if I grow quicker than I can improve then I'll whip a couple more workers once I grow onto unimproved tiles.

Here is the cities list. Cashew Bars has some decent overflow from whipping a settler this turn. The armory is at 58/60 from trickling hammers in while growing so I put that as a placeholder. I have 4 more cities to settle so I'll probably put that overflow into another settler. I'm using forges now as the target for trickle hammers while growing.

10 workers or 8-soon-to-be-9 cities. Still feels light, especially considering that I want (and can support economically) 4 more cities in the near future.

I'm last in most meaningful demographics. My Oracle play certainly contributed to the stagnant growth. Time will tell whether this can pay off in the long run mischief

Gav took my island city rant That is a huge economic blow, costing about 20 gpt and putting me at 0gpt breakeven. There will be payback.

In 3 turns I hit Tarsus with 4 chariots, 2 spears, and 1 axe.

Let’s see what Gavagai can muster in defense. He whipped a 2nd galley this turn and at Size 2 can’t even dry whip anything. Hopefully he doesn’t have any hammers invested in anything else. An axe/immortal pair shipped out on a galley 2 turns ago. I don’t know where that galley is. It was sitting 1NE of Christstollen last turn so may or may not be in range. I suspect/hope maybe 1NW of Christstollen in order to hide out of sight and tempt me to leave Caramel Popcorn underdefended.

One warrior and 2 immortals on defense:

I have the following options for attack:
• Spear vs. warrior - 75%
• Axe vs. immortal - 75%
• C1 chariot vs. immortal - 62%

I'm thinking I would like to keep the city with axe + spear + chariot inside. Meaning 3 chariots and a spear are "expendable". I'm thinking take 2 chariot combats vs. the immortals. If the dice roll my way then I get some nice XP towards a GG. Otherwise I scratch the defender and give my more valuable units a higher chance of success.

Victory! Won 62%, 62%, and 75% chariot battles hammer ... overall a 28% result. Gavagai took my island with a 20% victory so I’ll call us even. I kept the city which survived with a granary jive I haven’t finished the turn yet, have to figure out where I’m going to move my units.
