For the record I loved that a lot of places were open via canals. I had one ready from pretty early just in case Bing settled on the marble island not on the marble.

I did try to get canal access between all of 3 major and 3 minor seas, but some might have better than others. And yes, the "main" land borders should have been less desert-y.

I listened to Bing's videos today and he was constantly talking about those natural borders and how he should expand into Mjmd. I don' think all borders need to be "fight over all this stuff", but need to bring players in competition somewhat (except if you are trying to create some void space in cases of uneven numbers of players).

That being said, I would 1000% play on a Tarkeel map again.
