So hey, when am I allowed to use stasis? There was talk of turn 100 but that strikes me as very late on quick speed.

Oh, playing time? I'm flexible about that, and was just going to shoot for a turn latency of less than 12 hours. I am GMT -8:00 (Pacific West Coast) but am hopping on a plane tonight for Thailand for a week where I'll be GMT +7:00 iirc.

Preference would be to play in my mid evening (2100), so that makes 0500 in GMT, but my first couple round of turns would be 1400 -- .

EDIT: if it's a regular schedule we're looking for, use the west coast time obviously. I'll try and make it happen while I'm in Thailand.

I say use it whenever you want; it only lasts for 15 turns on quick. I think there's a lot better tactical uses for it than freezing everyone for a little while in the early game anyway, so not sure it'll really be an issue.

Regarding the forum, I haven't heard anything back yet. I guess I can send Gris another PM and/or one to KoP. Right now I'd suggest just taking notes and saving them to a word document until there's some sort of response.

I know Hyborem's Whispers ability doesn't work in MP, don't know about GG's though.

I'll be away from a computer for 4 days or so in the next week, possibly starting this Friday (details still being worked out).
Hopefully should give us time to get a few turns in though, and time to plan our starts.

For anyone reading and thinking they would have liked to join - I may end up needing a turnplayer every now and then.

Probably not (as in, you are not alone). FfH is an awesome mod, but there's so much extra content stuffed in there that you're constantly discovering new things. That's like half the fun, honestly. I'll try and pack as much detail into my decision-making posts as possible with mechanics explanations.

As to Stasis, I made my previous comment thinking we'd be on raging barbs in Normal Speed 30 turns of no production with raging barbs can end a game real quick-like
