What should be the XP gain required to acquire 1 fame for Catnip 1.0?
In the original, it was 8xp (e.g. 4 x 2xp, 4 kills or zombies). Should I try to reprogram it into counting 4 dead bodies, or do you prefer having an XP threshold?
I am inclined for the latter, it feels better being awarded fame after killing 3 Sky Drakes, than 4 spearmen. Also, counting bodies is more work (lazy lazy lazy). We could set the threshold rather low for now (say, 10 xp), raising it later. Or we may try to make it game_time dependent, low at the start, +1 with every year etc.
What do you think? - Other than that, I'm done with XP gains. This needs proper testing. Ugly code.
--------
Another idea: if we count retreating armies as fame addition/reduction (say, at half xp value), it could solve a lot of cheap game exploits. We could even drop the retreat deaths considerably, maybe: You may retreat freely, but it will damage your reputation (and your troops etc.).

How would you feel about postponing the deadline for next weekend?
