[SPOILERS] scooter and Lewwyn troll lurkers

Quick turn. Krill did not settle in place, but everyone else either did. Or they moved 1 tile onto flatland and settled. Anyway, our scout is finding some nice stuff already:

Wet wheat, lake clams, river, etc. E-NE next turn.

Maybe we should instead name our cities after 70/80's action movies and our units after the MST3k names?

OMG I can't believe you did it! I thought for sure you'd say no. Best game ever!

However, uh, Scooter are you working the fish there instead of the forest? Want me to log in and switch it over?

Bounced off Thoth as he was rolling the turn. It's probably okay.

Logged in played the turn, I set the tile micro back to the forest hill. Our warrior will be delayed 1 turn, but still should be fine if our scout can find a target. Speaking of scout:

More pigs! Yay. Also there is an Oasis and more lakes. SO overall the land looks fun.

Really hoping to find someone with the scout ASAP.

Replayed T0-T2 so far today, so we're now back to where we left off.

We were last up for T3, so I went ahead and moved the scout... and forgot that moving onto an Oasis kills your movement points smile.

Oops. Whatever, I ended turn and played the next turn:

NE-NE next turn sound good?

Yup.

You know I was doing some thinking and we're likely going WB after Warrior so what the point of getting hunting first? We don't need it until we have a worker and that's looking down the line a bit. In fact, the tech that would really help us is BW for slavery and knowing where copper is so we can plant our 2nd city there.

Given this... Let's start teching to BW? I think switching to Mining ASAP is for the best.

Yeah you know, why the heck not. Tech swapped to Mining. Let's do this properly. Oh:

FUNNY YOU SHOULD SAY THAT.

Pindicator is going to hate me. I guess I shoudn't gloss over that Serdoa war thing huh? Yeah this guy made an appearance:

I mean whatever, as long as he's only passing through I don't care. Speaking of passing through, let's do the same with pindicator:

Wow, nice riverside tiles. This would make a nice addition to our shiny little empire wink. Pindicator knows me well enough to know that 1) I don't mean anything aggressive by declare-scouting and 2) I'm strongly opposed to senseless early combat, so he may actually be quite complacement by my existence. Hopefully we can capitalize on that for an early kill. I do want to check out his land and verify that he does not have a plains forest hill, so I'll do that and then make peace. I'd like to NOT step on his wheat, which I believe would telegraph aggressive intentions. The land between us:

Extremely tight as expected. Now the bad news. Those hill tiles are a pain. If that tile 1E of the sheep was flatland, we could EASILY play after him and walk right into an empty capital since he has no hill tiles of his own along this path. The good news is he still would need to rack up 15h in time, and that may not be possible if we time things correctly. We'll see, I'll do a little bit of planning on the stealthiest way to ambush him. May be better to just wait for 2 warriors. If we can't capture that's fine, we can slow him down long enough for axes to finish the job.

Lewwyn, we should probably chat later on the most efficient way to do this.
