Oh, and gaining control of the disputed Silk is indeed at least a minor victory for us. I really dislike like losing cultural wars. Hesperides has somehow lost control of its first ring tile so it now has a few shiny new Drill 2 Machine Guns as stack defenders. You can`t be too careful about losing key cities imo.

TURN 278 and 279
Wetbandit`s Axe is clearly enjoying the beautiful Greek countryside. It`s pointing towards YeeHawdists and Wetbandit might very well be signalling that we should start an attack so that he can pile on. At this point I`m quite reluctant to go in first. Sigh, it`s just so hard to get a proper two-way attack going at this map. Wetbandit and Superdeath have both built a lot of units over the last 10 turns. We`ll finish Physics eot 279. We should probably build a few Airships asap. Also, our Great Artist was finally born in Escanes so that we can start a Golden Age at any time. Wetbandit started his GA on t278.
I don't know if Known Tech Bonus' have been nerfed yet but I think it's okay to be trailing behind a little bit in tech is still fine because of this. That's why I think it's really important to save the 5th GA for either an important civic swap or spaceship building.
I mean in an ideal world we're not the first ones to attack because ideally we all attack at the same time and both Superdeath and Wetbandit should know this.

In the early days of rtr mod the known tech bonus was very big, so much that the tech leader stopped before finishing a tech in order not to allow the others to catch up easily. This mod still has a significant amount of ktb and we`re not critically behind in tech. I do agree that we should wait a bit before launching our next (final?) Golden Age to get as much value from it as we possibly can.
No one really wants to go in first against Mr. Cairo for obvious reasons. I think we need some sort of tech edge before considering an attack.
TURN 280
Physics revealed that we have a source of Uranium near Gower. If we ever want to connect that source we`ll have to pave over one of our grassland towns. We`re following the others to Artillery. I thought about going for Electricity - Industrialism but decided against it as the latter is prohibitively expensive and we won`t get any known tech bonus. Wetbandit will finish Artillery eot. A number of Airships are under construction. I think we need to build a decent size of them to be able to contest the skies.
I thought in RtR they changed it so that villages/towns gives us access to strategic resources or maybe not.

We did in all version in which the villages/towns are indestructible.

I`ve never been a fan of indestructible improvements out of principle as I feel that it takes away some of the intrigue from the game right after a conquest. Paving over a mature cottage in the bfc of Gower is annoying but hardly game-breaking. I just like to complain when something goes against us.
Isn`t this mod the last one without the automatic hook-up of resources with a town? The 4.1.x series (and BUG_RtR, which is based on them) has villages that can't be pillaged and resource connections for both towns and villages. The mod for this game is still in the 4.0.x series, where towns and villages are pillageable and don't connect anything.
BUG_RtR is only a test version and eventually be merged into RtR.
