Watch and it turns out that SD actually intended us to guess Play, and will rend his garments as we proceed to avoid it like it's lava for the rest of the game.

Well, that's a start.
Anyone wants to try PITCHfork? Perhaps Pokies, instead of poke, is intended to make us not guess SOUND. I seem to recall that poke is a common onomatopoeia, which would clue to SOUND. Pokies feel like a figurine name (like those big headed ones, that are called Pops, I think). Does that ring any bell for someone? There's also a song: "Do the Hokie Pokie and turn around...". I think I've leared it in an english class in school. Also, Pokies feels like something you PLAY with. That would be a Candyland 4 guess, as thrawn suggested. Or there's just a reference that we aren't getting and all this discussion is ill-advised. Yeah, as you can see, I'm pretty lost. I'm ok with guessing whataver and with passing as well. |
