My WIP Unit Art Thread

Here is units sprites set of Civizards (all of them). As you know that sprites in PC version is 30x28 pixel with 3 move animation and 1 attack animation but in Civizard (PSX) is 40x40 pixel with many units have custom frame number (drake has 4 frame of movement and 2 frame attack animation) so it could not directly port into pc version without edit or overhaul. I decide to post it here so it would be useful for other artists in case they want to convert into usable project for Caster of Magic or PC version of other fan project of Master of Magic.

Thank you very much!

Couldn't sleep. Did a new prototype for a beastman wizard since the previous one wasn't very good. I am satisfied with this one, so I will probably use it.

Look better all hair back or some forward?

Okey dokey, thanks. Nice to see you again. Did you get your computer fixed? Or was it that you were on vacation or something? I can't remember why you were without a computer for a while.

Yeah, you were saying that the hair looked better all back, that seems to be unanimous from the respondents. Which is to say you, and one person from Hadriex's discord lol.

And I just remember you saying a while back that you were going to be without a computer for a while. I don't remember what the reason was though, sorry. So it's nice to see you posting again. Perhaps I should have worded my response better lol.

I touched it up using my secret weapons (MS Paints "oil brush" and "watercolour brush" lol) Then I ran it through MoM's DOS palette. Not looking to bad I'd say, might honestly be ready for animating. What do you guys think?

I have a new-ish coworker that's been modding games like Doom since the 90s and he was somewhere between really annoyed and really impressed that my computer art tools are a mouse instead of a tablet, and primarily MS Paint instead of anything actually specialized for it.

My hand is as healed as it's probably going to get. Managed to bench 235 lbs, but my hand was killing me the entire time. Had to drop down my weight on my other exercises from 100 lbs to 90 lbs. The funny thing with my hand being messed up is that the heavy lifting hurts less then cutting celery, very strange. I'm hope I regain my strength quickly, I'm gaining back weight, and it's driving me mental.

Will you name beastman wizard "Baphomet"?

235 lbs is quite heavy even for a beast man. I hope you know everything about technique, warm-up, possible injuries if you overuse your hands and wrists when bench pressing...  Kind regards! popcorn

I learned everything I know from an old 1980s exercise book that came with the bench when my uncle bought it lol. Although don't remember what it said. My version of warm up is try and get it off the hooks, and if I fail come back 30 minutes later and try again. The 235 lbs isn't so bad, but it was very hard to consistently be able to get the 250 lbs off of the hooks. And my form has been pretty crap, so I am going to try and fix it a bit before going back up in weight.

The only reason I care if I get injured is losing strength. I walk an hour to work, most of my shift is manual labour, and I have a tumour in my leg. Pain is near constant. Places other then my leg hurting is honestly a nice change of pace, I just still want to be able to exercise properly, and gaining strength was one of the only things keeping me sane lol.
