Is that character a variant? (I just love getting asked that in channel.) - Charis

[SPOILERS] Asoka of Aztec (DMOC/Nakor)

I think going 1sw of the sugar for a fourth city is the best option.

Easy turn, end of turns sees an Axe and a WB finished. So we'll build another WB and whip a Worker next before going for a settler.

Axe is on road to defend the settler moving into place. Let's hope we beat Kublai. I've got a warrior looking for his settler.

Another easy turn. Moving things along. Revolted to Slavery so we can whip the worker next turn. Going for another Axe and then a settler in Calc.
MV will build another WB and then a Worker.

Wheel came in at EOT. I think we should go for Pottery before Priesthood/Mono.

Or do you think it's possible to Oracle CS on this map?

Pottery's fine. It's am important tech. But...

Well, it's theoretically possible to oracle CS, but that's very, very risky. Why not oracle Metal Casting instead? If we Oracle that then it would be best to save pottery until after Priesthood, since we can research it while building the Oracle.

I'm ok with Oracling MC as well. We could try to build/chop/whip Oracle in our blocking city to get more culture in there. Or we could Oracle CoL and hope Confu is founded in the next city. There are not a lot of forests to chop there and our Capital has pretty good production. We could build Oracle when not build/whipping settlers/workers while regrowing.

Are you going to get access to Civ soon to take a look as well?

Wheel is done, science at 0% for 1 turn, then to Priesthood in 4 turns.
Whipped a worker in Calc, going to build an Axe (maybe 2) and then a settler for city 4.

Settler 2 is moving towards the blocking site. Kublai is sending a chariot down. I'll move our warrior back so he'll join the axe in defending the city.

Going to road towards city 3 to get faster connection and I might send another axe up there.

We might also consider building a spearman, if it's possible, just to deter an attack. Although I think you've already invested a turn in an axe?

And anyway, just be careful out there. Axe on defensive terrain, etc. and hope that KK doens't declare war. smile

Kublai declared war and killed our scouting warrior. Going to send a Spear (just build) over as well to our new site. What are the odds of 1 axe against a warrior and chariot?

Science dialed up to 100%, getting Priesthood in 3T. Pottery - Writing afterwards?

Definitely get the spear there to protect.

If we have 1 axe and we're defending versus a fully healthy chariot, the axe is going to lose. It might be better for us to move the settler down southwest for a city there, if the settler hasn't already made a large trek.

Also, keep an eye on where the chariot is located, to look out for its possible 2-moves.

The Settler is close to the spot. Going to delay the settling a bit to wait for the Spear.

Interesting. Spear is on the way. Decided to build a Chariot for more re-inforcement near our new site. Then an Axe and Settler (whip) before regrowing during Oracle.

MV build it's second WB and will start on a Worker next turn (whip), after growth to size 4. Could build/whip a Spear if things look bad with Kublai.

Kublai isn't in Slavery, so we don't have a lot to fear from him. Is it even possible to think about WAR with him? We've got quite a production edge and enough workers to road towards his lands. Then again, it's an awfull long way to walk and early warfare should be fast. Then again, again, he declared on us! So he has chosen unwisely!

BTW, worker 3 is roading towards our next city sire 1SW of the Sugar.

Pics next turn? I can attack Kublai's warrior on the hill with our Axe, but the Axe might be attacked in turn by a chariot. huh
