Turn 94
I revolt to rep this turn. I also met mackoti last turn who just revolted to Hereditary Rule.
Time to piss off more neighbours
:

A quick trait comparison:
Agricultural: 11 food per turn
Organized: ~14 gold per turn
Financial: 4 commerce per turn
The new Financial is actually really bad for my start due to the lack of riverside grasslands. I think Financial might a tad underpowered at the moment in the mod, because if you lack rivers, Financial isn't going to help you. It's very much a situation where the rich gets richer and the poor gets...nothing. I think I'd like to see Financial given half priced Markets, Grocers and Banks. (not sure what Imperialistic would get instead though)
Organized on the other hand would be very strong for my start. Since I'm around a lot of water, almost all my cities needed a Lighthouse. I think ORG would probably be best "real" trait for me. Now would I have given it up for Charismatic? I'm not so sure. In this map I didn't have a lot of early game happiness. In fact, I hooked up my first luxury resource something like turn 75. Sure I could have actually gotten the silver with a border pop with my second city, but I would have to tech Mysticism early and build a monument, which are considerable resources. Charismatic allowed to get by for quite a while and I was able whip a ton in the main time. It's not uncommon for my cities to have 2-3 whip anger.
What's my plan next?
I think a Classical era war might be in order, with horse archers/ catapults. With tech scaling on, it's going to be a long time before anyone reach the next generation of military techs. Look at the tech costs:
HBR: 415
Construction: 614
Civil Service: 1592
Feudalism: 1367
Machinery: 1367
Guilds: 2053
With the increased tech cost across eras, I predict that people might actually prioritize techs in the current era before beelining for techs in the next era. If this is true, the window of opportunity for horse archers might be even larger than usual.
Anyways it's all speculation right now. I need to explore a little more before I make my decision. My scouting has been pretty lacklustre since most of my units are tied up in barb defense.

Not to mention Agricultural is pretty broken imo. Anyways I think it's customary to do a Turn 100 report. I guess I will do one too but not sure how much effort I will put into it.
