I really want to whip Alan Lancaster next turn, so it can grow back on a Library (stupid, huh?). I'm leaving the Settler at Rick Parfitt and holding off settling Roy Lynes, for the time being. Just hope Bob's unnamed Warrior doesn't spot them in his wandering and get funky.

Incidentally, tech at 100% yields 28 beakers/turn @ -21 g/turn - 0% yields +4 g/turn

OK, turn played as follows:

Nigel Martyn: Bob's culture sprang into view so he move 1W. Will have a gander inside as we have Open Borders.
Paul Hinshelwood: moved 1SE - he's still skirting Sian's culture, should i offer Open Borders?
Chris Coleman: moved 1SE - hmm, he can see one of Khan's workers outside his culture, time for some fun?
Neil Ruddock: moved 1N - saw Marble in the BFC of Andy Bown site, useful for Great Library once I can do the tech.

Pardew: put a turn into a Road as finishing the Chop will complete the Settler in Alan Lancaster this turn.
Pulis: put a turn into a Road to connect up Rhino Edwards.
Holloway: put a turn into a Mine.
Freedman: put a turn into the Horse Pasture.
Burley: finished Road on Tundra.
Hart: moved 1E to put a turn into a Cottage

Settlers: put to Sleep ZZZzzzzzz

At end of turn Francis Rossi grew back to Size 3 & built first Axe (Gareth Southgate) - 0% tech now yields +8 g/turn

Took further pics at end of turn:

Remembered to put the resource marker on for these.

Those Demographics look shite:

Any sage advice? The turns come around quite quickly at the moment - although there are breathers on Tuesdays & Sundays.

Turn 62 (520BC)

Warrior moves:
Nigel Martyn: moved 1NW into Bob's territory.
Paul Hinshelwood: moved 1S
Chris Coleman: moved 1S - spotted another outcrop of Bob's culture & Khan has dropped a city (Danmark) south of his current culture. Will have to squeeze in a city down there ASAP! Good thing i have a spare Settler!
Neil Ruddock: moved 1NE

Axemen moves:
Gareth Southgate: moved 1NE from to shadow Bob's unnamed Warrior.

Worker moves:
Pardew: completed his random Road.
Pulis: finished route to Rhino Edwards.
Holloway: put a turn into a Mine.
Freedman: put a turn into a Horse Pasture.
Burley: moved onto an empty tile to build a Cottage.
Hart: finished a Cottage.

OK, I've whipped Alan Lancaster! Will put that Settler to sleep as well. Have taken the Copper from Rick Parfitt to speed up the Library. 0% now yields +4 g/turn.

At end of turn Rick Parfitt grew back to Size 3 - 0% yields +5 g/turn
PBEM12 - Shaka of Inca [6/6*] PBEM18 (Apps) - Augustus of China [4/4*] PBEM31 - Hannibal of Greece [jnt2-4/5*] PBEM72 - Willem of Oranje - Dutch [3/4*] PBEM74A -Catherine of Babylon [4/4][*ended early]

Wait you put a city ON sheep ? That's unusual ! Also, I know what it's like to have an economy that crippled, it's tough. When do you think you'll get currency ?

It was that or be very aggressive with Khan and settle 1NE, nicking the improved Sheep. That decision might come back to bite me. At least it's on a Hill, so better defence.

I can make a better prediction once Rossi & Parfitt (and maybe Lancaster) are back to size 4 & working Cottages whilst spamming out Workers to improve around the intended city-sites. That'll hopefully will be within 5 turns, and maybe Currency will follow in as many turns afterwards.

Turn 63 (480BC)

Warrior moves:
Nigel Martyn: moved 2W - using Bob's Roads!
Paul Hinshelwood: moved 1SE.
Chris Coleman: moved 1S.
Neil Ruddock: moved 1E.

Axeman moves:
Gareth Southgate: move 1NE; he'll catch up with Bob's Warrior shortly.

Worker moves:
Pardew: moved to a free tile to build a Cottage.
Pulis: put a turn into a Cottage.
Holloway: finished Mine.
Freedman: finished the Horse Pasture.
Burley: : put a turn into a Cottage.
Hart: moved onto a Floodplain & put a turn into a Cottage.

100% tech yields 31 beakers @ -23 g/turn (and Currency would complete in 6 turns at that rate, so I need to massively reduce that negative gold and, in turn, increase the beakers)
0% tech yields +4 g/turn (changed to +8 g/turn at end of turn)

Dammit, we have a slight rebellion in Rick Parfitt!! Hope it doesn't last too long.

Turn 64 (440BC)

Warrior moves:
Nigel Martyn:moved effectively 2N on Bob's Roads!
Paul Hinshelwood: moved 1NE - ran to a forested Hill away from one of Sian's Immortals (he can't have only one, eh? He's at War with Khan)
Chris Coleman: moved 1SE & found some coastal, but dry, Rice, but bugger all with it!
Neil Ruddock: moved 1E

Axeman moves:
Gareth Southgate: move 2E & 1N - 1 tile behind Bob's Warrior

Worker turns:
Pardew: put a turn into a Cottage
Pulis: put a turn into a Cottage
Holloway: moved & put a turn into a Cottage
Freedman: moved ready to build another Cottage
Burley: put a turn into a Cottage
Hart: put a turn into a Cottage

Sounding more like Fulham FC than CPFC this turn!

100% tech yields 38 beakers @ -24 g/turn - 0% yields +8 g/turn (+9 at end of turn) Might be able to come off 0% tech real soon, well as soon as Parfitt stops the rebellion. Guess i'll have to build some defenders (1 Axe & 1 Spear) in each city, should be able to grow to size 5 then.

Turn 65 (400BC)

Warrior moves:
Nigel Martyn: moved 1N
Paul Hinshelwood: 1SE
Chris Coleman: 1SW
Neil Ruddock: 1NE

Axe turns:
Gareth: moved to enter Parfitt next turn to quell rebellion

Worker turns:
Pardew: put a turn into a Cottage
Pulis: finished Cottage
Holloway: put a turn into a Cottage
Freedman: put a turn into a Cottage
Burley: finished Cottage
Hart: put a turn into a Cottage

100% tech yields 40 beakers @ -24 g/turn; 0% yields 9 g/turn (10g at end of turn)

May risk settling Roy Lynes next turn. rebellion in RP ended at end of turn, but one sprang up in Alan Lancaster when it grew back to size 4. Axe completed in Rossi (Jim Cannon) will move over to quell.

Turn 66 (360BC)

Not sure of the point of this:

I exited diplomacy.

Warrior turns:
Nigel Martyn: 1N
Paul Hinshelwood: 1E
Chris Coleman: 1NE (hmm, did he just back-track?)
Neil Ruddock: 1NE

Axe turns:
Gareth Southgate: as not required at Rick parfitt for now, moved 1S,2E on road to Rhino Edwards
Jim Cannon: moving to Alan Lancaster as planned

Worker turns:
Pardew: finished another Cottage
Pulis: moved to a free tile ready for another Cottage
Holloway: finished another Cottage
Freedman: put a turn into a Cottage
Burley: moved to help improve Rhino Edwards
Hart: finished another Cottage

Neil Warnock completed at end of turn in Rick Parfitt, now building Peter Taylor (both Workers)

100% tech yields 48 beakers @ -24 g/turn, 0% yields +16 g/turn

However, now ramped up tech to 50% - Currency due in 8 turns @ -4 g/turn (this changed to -5 g/turn at end of turn so may have to revise this)

Turn 67 (320BC)

Warrior turns:
Nigel Martyn: moved 2W on Bob's Roads
Paul Hinshelwood: moved 1NE
Chris Coleman: moved 1SE (so Khan & Bob are at war now)
Neil Ruddock: moved 1NE

Axe turns:
Gareth Southgate: moved to Rhino Edwards & reinforced
Jim Cannon: moved to Alan Lancaster & reinforced

Workers turns:
Pardew: moved & started another Cottage
Pulis: put a turn into a Cottage
Holloway: moved & started another Cottage
Freedman: finished another Cottage
Burley: as he was standing there, Chopped out the Spearman in Alan Lancaster
Hart: moved onto a Hill ready to Mine
Warnock: started a route to Andy Bown site
Workboat: improved Fish at Alan Lancaster

So tempted to have settled Roy Lynes this turn .. maybe next time

100% tech yields 52 beakers @ -24 g/turn; 0% yields +19 g/turn - however teching @ 50%, Curreny takes 5 more turns @ -3 g/turn (damn -5 g/turn at end of turn!)
