ok decided on the real path. Get cavs first and corp 2nd. Doesnt look like anyone is in position to get the GM. Comm is now heading to paper. Yuris havent touched guilds. AI doesnt have paper. Yuris is the big threat to get it I guess I can bank 3 turns of gold to get it in an emergency?

got paper. offered map trade to ipecac to make up for bad scouting. building sankore because I dont think yuris is building it. For example, his 2 big cities that I can see have no temple or monastery. comm is still committed to mil. cav rush it is. I noticed something really strange though because i had 3 GA turns last turn then built the taj so I should have 11 turns left, 2+9, but instead i have 12 turns of GA?

EDIT: BTW yuris changed his tech from Nat to alphabet and he just hooked-up marble to definitely bested him there. Do need to carefully see if he gets guilds.

If you bulb with merchant practicaly you gain nothing...

yes but the main reason is denial. I can see yuris' GS and i really dont want him to get the 2nd GA too easily. While I been building production and military, he build univerisities and pretty sure he build oxford by now.

EDIT: in fact, why isnt he trying to claim it instead of researching alphabet!? Is he going for cavs first?!

looks like just placeholder while gathering gold. to make up for the power deficit with comm, I am putting hammers into buildings this turn, and adopting nat and theocracy next turn to draft muskets. Will whip a bunch of buildings before changing civics to preserve overflow. a good number of those are temples so + to sankore.

Got sankore and cav rush it is. Forgot that the GM now bulbs constitution, which makes beelining econ much weaker.

Commodore is researching PP?! why. rifles will be a liability against grens and he is nowhere close to cavs. If he was heading to steel, then I would have potentially serious problems. sigh the econ GM is still tempting just for denial...
