Time for the weekly check-in! REM has played at least some of his turn but still hasn't ended it, while BGN and DZ have yet to check in--I don't know if either of them are waiting on REM though. Any other updates?

I wait but not for in game reasons. As slow as the pace is I'm dubious that the turns will be played at all so I don't bother playing until the typical slow to play civs have played. Don't want to waste my time if the game gets called after I've played. I'm attentive enough to avoid holding things up much.

I don't believe anyone is waiting on me, but I am going to have time to finish in about an hour or 2

Guys can someone give me some advice here, not quite sure what is going on. I may ask for a reload to taotao's logout to make sure the game isn't buggy.

So new laptop. Installed civ and all that. Been able to load up and play PB35, and PB30. I can enter and play a single player game with the 3xxx rtr mod no issues. I can load up the civ selection screen for the other pitbosses whilst in the 3xxx rtr mod.

However if I try to load this game after putting in the address, the game tries to load for a second, then the game exits to desktop and gives a window stating a 'runtime error', and that the program asked the game to terminate in an unusual way.

I don't think it is my laptop as I can do the other pitbosses without issue, and use the mod fine otherwise. Would someone else be able to try and enter the game to see if it is just me or a server reload be done perhaps?

Cheers

I only get the "runtime error" when I forget to load the mod before connecting. I have been using 3.0.0.4 without issue otherwise. Let me check to see if I have any issues....

Yes, I seem to be logging in fine. I got back out of the game

I took the mod from the first post...

But the mod runs fine, I can play SP with it. I get the runtime error before the game checks if it has the right mod. I get it before I can even chose my civ to load. If I choose a wrong mod I get the crash to desktop after choosing a civ when the game tries to load usually. But at least I know it is me. No idea why it is me, but I know it is me.

OK, I just checked and I get that crash upon connecting. I think it used to be different and I could still go back and load a mod before it crashing, but not anymore.

What I have done to combat this is:

1. Open CIV. Then Advanced > Load a Mod > RTR Mod 3.0.0.4 > OK

2. This closes and reloads CIV with 3.0.0.4. Then do the usual to connect.

If you still have this issue after trying this, then I am not sure. But i always have to pre-load the mod first now.
