Report from an arena run today. I got a play a really fun priest deck with a couple of Thoughtsteals and a Mindgames, with two Holy Novas. (That's the single card that makes or breaks Priest arena runs imo, since it's one of the best arena cards in the games and covers up your biggest weakness, early board control against aggro.)
At 3 wins and no losses I established control vs a shaman, got two Thoughtsteals off and then, sadly, he conceded before I could play this turn:
I think I had 66 damage there!
The other really fun game was against a rogue, I think at 5 wins 1 loss. On turn 4 I opened with "The light shall burn you!". He tried to counter with "I will be your death!" but then I played Mindgames followed by "Thank you!"
It was one of the strongest turn 4s I've ever had! He put up a valiant effort and eventually killed her but my turn 7 play of Sister + Emerald Drake was too strong.
I ended at 8 wins after getting out-tempoed with no 2 drops:
