I have just forwarded this message onto Nakor / Gaspar demanding an explanation.

I have not said or done anything to indicate that my current goal is to attack you, yes my power score is rising at the moment but as you will notice from the graphs (i assume you can still see mine our current espionage scores) your power rating is currently above mine and in addition to this the reason my power is climbing is because I am expanding and actively defending my lands from barbarians as well as extra precautionary troops as this is a multi player game after all.

I had thought that I got on well with Nakor and Gaspar however your message is indicating that perhaps my relations with them are not as good as I had thought.

However I do have a NAP with them until turn 150 and perhaps you would like to sign one with me as well until the same time period as a sign of good faith? You will remember I have also recently opened borders with you as well with intentions of opening trade once we are connected.

Actually, I do not have sight of your graphs [yet!], so thank you for the information. Yes, I too have been having Barbarian problems to deal with.

I will happily sign such a NAP. Perhaps, in time, this will become a fruitful alliance of sorts.

I have no idea how GE would think we meant you. We made an innocuous comment to the effect of us hearing rumblings that he could be a target (which we had.) Where'd he take the leap to think that meant you is beyond us, but we certainly weren't trying to stir any pots. We'll clarify to GE shortly, sorry for any diplo issues this may have caused you.

Turn 89

Another Barbarian Archer bites the dust, tghis time curtesy of Tupac04, just outside WakaWakaShaka. Tupac06 is now standing guard over Shaggy02 to defend from the last visible Barbarian Archer near HipsDontLie. Building a Settler in SheWolf, will stretch our peaceful western border southwards.

Good to hear you have NAP's with Kyan and Malakai, but T100 is coming closer every day... Quecha's for defense won't win the day against maces/cat's and knight, so I hope you will have a good defense in place once those NAP's expire...

Good to know we have a NAP untill T125, that saves you 1 border to look after.

Have you got more expansion plans in motion? I think Tredje and Kyan are getting closer to the edge of their box with every new city, so they might start settling in other boxes...

You haven't exactly clarified anything regarding the threat! Yes, Malakai forwarded Gaspar's response, and we have now signed a t150 NAP.

Waiting to hear from Kyan though, which may be where your concerns lay all along. The t100 NAP we signed also had a minor settlement agreement, allowing me unchallenged access to another lake (the one where my Work-Boat materialised after its flight) and a Missionary (we will be converting to Buddhism at some stage) so I do not see what he'll gain from attacking.

Anyway ... who said we only have Quechuas? Are they calling the Shakirites backward?

On the expansion front ... yes, we are going to secure our borders on both the east and west with further cities, thank you for your concern.

Turn 91

Revolted to Vassalage & Serfdom - this makes the Barracks more effective, lowers the cost of units, and those workers will work faster [not whipped for ages, so I doubt we'll miss it] ... overall, ecellent!!!

At 0% tech, we are currently researching [numbers are turns @ 0% ]:

Polytheism[1] -> Monotheism[3] to get State Religion [we'll convert to Buddhism unless we get a better offer] then Code of Laws[5] for Court Houses to make maintenance costs less and to get more EPs.

Still a couple of Barbarians lurking around [1*Archer & 1*Warrior] - hopefully the latter will fall on an axe shortly
