And...done. The new content is 23 ladder-only runewords. Tempting, but I'd want to see them before I made the decision to stick with old chars or jump to the new ladder. 23 more runewords that run ZodChamBerDupersOnly wouldn't exactly be incentive.

Now, it would be a different story if, say, CH was going to host a private realm, then I would have no problem starting from the beginning again.

Personally, if items is the only incentive Bliz can dream up, I am afraid all dems are uberish items which probably require high end runes. Not much more they can make a difference on items anymore except may be more/better granted skills.

If there are some good low-medium end ones, I would be tempted. You're right that if they all require high-end runes, fuggetaboutit.
