I failed to be clear about Slacking. I am not near my computer with any reliability until September. I will have brief forays into the city on an irregular basis until then, but they will likely be on weekdays and be for as short a visit as I can manage. And I will not be in the city on weekends until after Canadian Thanksgiving.
My name is Shadow and I am addicted to cottage life.
I felt like George Washington yesterday.
I cut down that damn (choke)cherry tree that was leaning over the pumphouse. Next down will be the poplar that was behind it, before it manages to fall in a storm and take out the cottage too.
And, on a much more important note, the water in Lake Huron is merely bracing to swim in now, as opposed to 'insta-headache when you dive in'. Also, the incredible plague of mosquitos that seems to be overwhelming most of cottage country is much mitigated on the shores of Lake Huron, where the ever-present wind from the west blows them away from you.
And, for Hawkmoon: How was WDW? Adventures had by all, I hope!

"Last seen wandering vaguely, quite of her own accord"
