I have to apologize for not being around the past few weeks. Among other things we've had such a heat wave that in the late afternoons my computer would spontaneously shut down if it was on. (And at those times, it wasn't very comfortable being in the room the computer is in, anyway.) I'll make an effort to be online this weekend.

I may be offline for a bit. Last night after crashing out of Slackers several times, I heard an arcing sound and my PC emitted a cloud of acrid smoke. What's really annoying is that the power glitch (or whatever) seems to have fried the circuit board of my hard drive.

Sorry to hear that, CelticHound. May you be able to get up and running again soon.

We were going to give next week a pass anyway, due to Canadian Thanksgiving, so our next scheduled game will be October 17th.
