Okay quick note for Turn 123 and 124.



T123 I finished off Scientific Method and then T124 I finished off (the mostly complete) Liberalism. A few notes. You can see that I will take Physics next turn and then build massive airships.

A note on oil distribution. Everyone has oil on their starting continent, 2SE of the starting position (or 1SE for those of us that moved the starting settler SE). But additionally, there is one oil right here. I don't know if that was just missed by the mapmaker or what. As it stands it won't be in any city's BFC (you'd have to put a city on that 1 tile jungle isle in Gasp's culture). The other thing is that Pindicator has Yuri's oil due to their peace deal. Gasp has 2 because he has the one on Sian's isle.

We managed to get one more turn in before I go out of town.

Liberalism came in and I took Physics. I also finished off Guilds, with the idea being to pick up Gunpowder next turn.

Speaking of the big ol' GP, Gaspar, having worked up the religious branch up to Theo (for Theocracy I assume), is now teching Gunpowder.

Yuri was working min-sci on Guilds, though Pindicator and I both thought that when he turned on tech, it would be for Astronomy, part-bulbed with his scientist, but instead he is finishing Guilds.

Pindicator finished Astronomy, which makes Yuri the only one without it.

I'm thinking about swapping for 5t into Nationhood after Gunpowder comes in.

I've also got some ideas on how to potentially get back some of the advantage Gaspadore has over me with turn order. I'll share those later perhaps if they're not too sneaky.....

I just teched Gunpowder this past turn, and plan to do Construction, Engineering and then Chemistry, hopefully over the next 3 turns.

I think that I will slip into Nationhood and Theocracy for 5t. 20 Janissaries will make a nice addition to my army.
