It's 1000 years on normal speed. I'd assume it's the same on other speeds, too. Unfortunately I think the monuments from Henge never double due to a quirk in the code, but the Henge itself will.

Yep it's the same - I got my doubling and very quick border pops. I've been taking a few screenshots as I go, and I'll update the thread sometime tonight but we've been mini-blitzing here.

T36 saw me get the doubler and put me on the verge of my border pop:
Defending against Dazed:
This seemed sound. I blocked the chariot, protected my workers, and the warrior was irrelevant. Anyways, the problem is he decided to take the 78% shot at one of my archers and got lucky enough to still have 2/3 str remaining so I couldn't kill him. Sigh. My luck in this game has been pretty sour - hoping it turns around eventually. Next turn:
Moved my units like this. That archer will not die on the hill. THe spear covers the workers and will not lose to that archer, so he cannot attack. Also, dog completes EOT. This means Dazed has to run or he will lose his units. He retreated both units to the forest hill, I'm hoping he'll just up and leave. We'll see. Culture screwing with Krill:
This is one of the benefits of the early Henge that I pushed for - complete cultural control of my surroundings. It's like a mini culture bomb. I would be stealing tiles from Dazed too, but unfortunately holy cities are tougher to crack. Sigh.
I'm not sure why it's 50/50. I'm getting 19cpt. He gets 5cpt from a holy city. This seems weird. I know it's 2nd ring vs 4th ring, but still. The next turn it tilted into his favor instead of 50/50, so he's clearly getting more onto his second ring with his holy city than I'm getting into the 4th ring with my 19cpt. Weird.

Also yes this means I have marble in my territory. If it were only stone. Still might be useful though, just not yet.

Oh - about my comment just now in the banter thread. No, I have no intentions to build Oracle at all. That was just a psychological shot in the dark to screw with them .

Anyways, my Mathematics research. I want it to power my forest chops. I'm going to chop into Pyramids soon, but I'd like it if all (or most) of those chops were Maths chops and thus worth 20h => +50% => 30h rather than 20h pre-maths. That makes a big difference. I hope to have it partially built and then finished by chops or something like that. I don't know, maybe I'll speed it up. We'll see. It's the one wonder I can't afford to miss here.

The state of my land:
Dazed sort of ran away so that's nice. Finally about to finish a settler (I'll easily be last to that) and furs are about to be hooked. So that's nice. Still need to go rehook my copper but that will be far less dangerous because of my new cultural advantage down south. Demos:
Pretty brutal honestly - no way to sugarcoat it. That happens when you're the only person with one city though. No idea if I can dig my way out of this, but I will certainly give it a shot .

Dazed's axe is being annoying:
That means my Spear must stay put. Anyways, I'm looping my Dog around to hook that coppper back up. Despite the settler being about to finish, I whipped anyways:
Just so I could dump some overflow hammers into Pyramids basically. I'm going to try to get a good bit of it done doing stuff like this, then as soon as Maths come in I'll chop a bunch of stuff, and post-Maths chops +50% for IND should get it done in a reasonable time-frame. Then swap to Rep and grow as large as I can and scientist my way into the future. Sound like a plan?

Alright, Dazed sent ANOTHER chariot in from the south. This is getting to be bad. HOWEVA, I can kill one of them:
I had pre-roaded that cow earlier on a spare worker turn. That came in handy here . I completed the road, renamed the Spear because I'm that mature (though he knows it's a spear), and got the kill:
Situation for the settler:
T46 I'll finally join the 2 city club. And yes I'm now realizing if there happens to be a chariot on the tile 1E of the fish then I'm screwed. Whatever.
Anyways, Pyramids has 54/335h into it and that's just with 2T into it. Since no one can get stone, the only way to compete with me for Pyramids would be Organized Religion. No one has founded Judaism yet, so I'm probably fine. I did notice Dazed went for Polytheism and got Hinduism when Buddhism was still on the board, but we'll see. I'll keep an eye on it.
