Yeah, that was my thought as well. They're on Replaceable Parts at the moment, so I don't even think its 7t until Rifling - they should have it sooner than that.

Here's a question for the lurkers. Is there anyway to communicate via trade screen to N7 that we require assurance that they're attacking mackoti and not us?
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

You could declare and immediately offer peace.

You could offer to trade them military materiel for military materiel - horse for horse, iron for iron, etc.
