Might as well provide a few snapshots.
Here we see the sorority sisters standing in line in the cafeteria...
MoonGrabber picked up a new outfit on sale, the Hawkmoon design. Here are several of us standing around gossiping about the new color, that bright green, along with whispering about how fat Moon looks with the change.
By the way, that's me up top in the linebacker outfit, with the spikey heels. I am sporting a shield, as you can see. However, as you will note in the next photo, rumors to the effect that I have forgotten how to use my bow have been greatly exagerated.
How you do stop the opposing tailback from breaking through the line of scrimmage? You put eight in the box.
Now for a bonus pic. Here is our sister Wisp, off on her own mission. We have Wisp to thank for blazing the trail that made it possible for us to gather together here under a rule set that is (more or less) coherent.

Oh my gosh, you have no idea how painful fourth dot is going to be. We've been generally operating with Sirian and I posting up the monsters in melee, while our sisters pumped them full of arrows from behind. That will have to stop for the fourth dot, lest we become pincushions instead But for now, we are having glorious fun ing their behinds

Hi all.
I (belatedly) realized last night that parent-teacher night for my kids is tonight, so I'll be late to the gaming.
Somehow, I didn't think it would be a good idea to ask them to reschedule since I had to put on a green dress and go shoot monsters with a bow. "But, I have to go rescue poor Malah!" (cue call to Child Welfare Services).
Good Luck, and see y'all when I get in.

You just need to rephrase it. "I will be undertaking a series of tests in a group setting that has been prearranged which will occupy my time. I regret not being able to take part in this informative and entertaining evening." (although they may not believe the second sentence) You don't need to mention that the "series of tests" includes seeing which outfit looks best on your newly dotted rogue or who has the tighter g*ahem*bow string...

In our top story today Diablo, the Lord of Terror, was found dead in his Chaos Sanctuary. Authorities found the demon with some 500 arrows protruding from his body. "Made his ugly red ash look like a porcupine," one imp giggled. While it is unclear who perpetrated this heinous crime, several witnesses report seeing a group of 8 women in green dresses heading towards the Sanctuary, claiming to be Diablo's new cheerleading squad. These same women were later seen leaving the Sanctuary giggling like school girls and heading for the Pandemonium Fortress, a known hideout for those that terrorize Hell. Anyone with more information should contact Baal, Lord of Destruction.

That sure did not take you guys long . . . I guess archery is simply THE way to go these days . . .

Well, after last night, the team is at the Stony Field.... in Nightmare I too did not anticipate that we would be moving this quickly through the game, but I have a feeling it is going to slow down somewhat as we encounter the nasties of the higher difficulties. Like fighting an LEB Coldcrow, a CEB mana burn rogue archer, and a CEB skel boss at the same time. Or fighting a cursed Rak, another CEB archer, and a goat boss together. Or dealing with a cursed ES Rogue archer camping the entrance to the cave. Or Bishibosh camping the WP. Those fight definitely took a little longer than normal. Partly from having to pick up all the gold and potions lying in neat, conspicuous little piles and trying to scrub the blood and dirt out of our skirts

What we really need is to decide upon some tactics, and then follow them rigorously. So far we've been so devastating (at least in the fashion sense) that we've been able to get away with being sloppy. I can't remember who said it in game, but the remark was made that knowing that everyone can teleport was making us sloppy. Or at least not careful. Running into multiple boss packs at once last night in NM was a wakeup call - we need to go more slowly, with the Sisters who can cast Hydra going first. Use the Hydras to scout, and we need to practice the "fighting retreat" maneuver a bit more so that we're not afraid to use it. That way we won't wake up too much at once, and we have a better chance of isolating a few monsters so that we can gang up on them. (and what's a Girl Team without a bit of hair-pulling free-for-all melee, hmmmm?)
