First step would probably be to suggest the ones you want to ban, rather than make everyone else guess .

Well, my feeling is similar to regoarrar's. I would like to be able to try some less used leaders and still be competitive. But apart from the obvious five (Willem, Sury, Pacal, India, Inca), it's hard to find a good rule.
I thought about using the PB4 bans, but maybe that one is a bit too rough.

One thought I had would be somehow setting a rule up similar to PBEM43 (where if you picked Fin, Exp, Inca, India, etc) you lost some turns. But instead of that (or maybe in addition to that), you could make the turn order contingent on traits / civs
So we have a regular snake order, with picks randomly assigned. Then at the end, we "rank" the civs / leaders based on points (so Inca, India, FIN, EXP, CRE maybe get points). Person with the least points (so less used civs / leaders) get to start first and/or people with the most points get turns skipped

Sorry to put this here, but I thought it was a global issue: are we playing with unrestricted leaders? I know it's pretty much the standard, but I thought I would double-check.

unless anything else is said, unresticted is to be excepted
Specially since when looking at restricted, its not quite as balanced for the Multiplayer Meta

Yes, that has been the norm around here so much that I completely forget it's an option in single player now
