Is that 'unrestricted is to be expected'
or ... 'unrestricted is to be excepted'
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I think Sian meant "expected."

Okay, vets were all gung ho about seeing starts, so I sent 'em out, although a ton more work on the map proper needs to be done. Greens, consensus on seeing starts? No hurry.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.

I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.

I'd vote for seeing starts before picks.

It doesn't matter to me.

Technically I don't *really* care, but I'm all curious and stuff. smile

Other question: are greens obligated to avoid the vets tech thread and vice versa? I'm certain the vets spoiler threads are out (since we're ultimately using the same map), but I dunno if the tech thread is similarly restricted.

Well, personally I follow the settings discussion there so if this is wrong, in the name of fairness, do the same mistake smile

I don't know if there will be a reason to "ban" that thread as well after the game starts.

I don't think there's any reason to ban the tech threads from the Vet's game from the greens and vice-versa. The only thing you may see that can be considered some sort of advantage is the leader/civs we are going to pick, but that's hardly meaningful (especially since we are probably going to use different pools of possible leaders and civs). Besides, if that's a problem in someone's eyes, you'd just have to wait until you pick a leader/civ and you could read the thread then.
