Ok - so, getting a settler - what am I going to do with him?

My choices are
Crab site (red square, gets fur with expansion)
Corn/pig/copper site - awesome production capabilities. used to get wonders/mil.
If everything else was equal, I'd definitely go corn/pin... but I'm going to go crab, since I'm hoping to get a border pop from meditation. A little dangerous, but worth the risk.

Quick notes - 2 turns to meditation. Hinduism has fallen (to commodore, I think).
Founded Danvers next to crabs. Will whip in the worker in McLean next turn so they are both size 1 and I have a 50/50 shot. Assuming I even get stupid buddhism...

picked up meditation in... McLean. ah well. will have to find another way to expand the borders in danvers. Maybe a monument.

yeah - pain in the ass. I generally get it early, but I decided to bypass it for this game, which made sense. I just forgot. Ah well. Copper is a great tile to work on for Oracle, anyway

Commodore picked up Oracle. My guess is that he got currency, but that's a pure guess.
I probably need a plan...
Build a monastery and make missionaries to get happiness/culture spread.
Get some happy resources up.

building a spear in The Ridges, as someones' power is going up and war chariots are the biggest threat.
Both Judaism and confucianism fell this turn. I presume Dazed got CoL (being organized), and Commodore got Judaism (having already gotten polytheism) and since CoL is useless to him.
