Strange that it looks fine in Mozilla ... I'm using Firefox and see it. I'm checking out Firefox's DOM Inspector and the source code, and the table structure looks really wierd.

1st Table:
Seems to display correctly. However, the first TR element never seems to be properly closed. It'd be good, at least for consistency's sake, to close it.

2nd Table:
Looks to be bad, unnecessary. Coded "<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" height="137">" and has no closing table. Also, when selecting this table from the DOM Inspector it highlights the errant spaces :P

Starting with the 3rd table, the tables after that also don't close the TR tag, but that may be the generated part of the page and I doubt you could touch that. That's also displaying correctly so not too important. Of course, I've never known a webboard that actually complied with standards :P

Well the new forum looks nice, anything is better than N54, but I am not sure if having all the posts line up perfectly on the left as opposed to having replies slightly indented will be a pain or not.

In any event, as mentioned it's much, much better than N54. Thanks Griselda, KoP, Charis for all the work here and at N54. Thanks also to Bolty for hosting.

That sums up my feeings quite well. N54 pretty much dropped of my list between the popups stopping working access, and the refusal to keeped logged on at more the one PC.

The only work problem is clickable smiles don't work.

This shows how tastes are different - I hated N54 indent / reply system. What really drove me nuts was posts not being in date order, and the newest reply could be buried in the middle of the thread.

Recommend against Sainthood at this time. I am under the impression to be a saint, in the RC church at least, one must be dead. Lets postpone this honor until absolutely necessary! We expect considerably more yoeman service before Gris's ship reaches the sea.

Perhaps some other honor would be in order?

Dang! How can I deal with this - now I have to learn a whole new set of smiley tags! IMO, these smilies are pretty ugly too... :P At least we can link in our own smilies, as on most boards.

I'd second Kylearan's request for a way to get a whole thread in one page, which was one of my favorite aspects of N54. But if there isn't a way to do it, then there isn't.

Huh? I went into control panel, changed my options, and I see 10 posts to a page. It was ugly went at my first look, but control panel did the thrick.
