[SPOILERS] The Rise of Lewger: A BacoN of Bacon Revenge (bacOn bAcoNbAcon) Bacon

Well I missed pindi's scout round the outside. He's next to our sugar. Also uncovered gems for pindiscoot near their cap. They should be trying to settle there. Panther nearby... Hope he dosen't come after the scout.

Last turn 5 civs planted their first city. Azza and pindicooter were 2 of the teams.

Scootinator moved their scout into our borders and declared war. Then offered peace. I declined. Forever.

Ah ha ha ha. Sending a firm message for future games?

Also, did you know that your subject line is too long to respond to when RE: is added to it?

will delay our city plant by one turn. The warrior next to the lion is also injured by a panther attack last turn... 1.5 health. Great.

Yeah, the additional RE: etc. makes it run over by a letter. Not that it matters!

Nooby civ question - when you have a capital with that many forests, would you plan to chop them all? And if so, do you think its better to save most of them up until mathematics is in, or just hack them down as fast as possible?

Bigger, show us the rankings or you're a wolf.

I would chop them into things, unless we want an early wonder (like Oracle].
Maths is too long term to worry about.

I plan to chop all the forests into something. Dunno what yet. We did get another forest growth in the capital which is great. Whether we wait for math is a good question, but it depends on our tech path. I might chop all those forests before math if I think that helps us get ahead. IE: chop them all into workers and settlers. Better snowball.

1. Lewger
2. gazglum
3. everyone else
4. Scooter and Pindicator

hows that?

I don't think I have enough data to rate people by skill (too many unknowns in this game for one thing), I was just going to rate people based on traits and civs. plus there's the time issue that is irritating Lewwyn, I'm sure. when pb8 started I was unemployed, now I'm overemployed.

Here is what everyone is:

as for the traits, the significant change from the previous version of rbmod was to take the 2x librarty away from organized, reverting it to its bts version. so basically nothing gives 2x speed library. nerfs org back down to reality a bit. also cre picked up 2x observatory and exp picked up 2x market and aquaduct. so org is less overwhelmingly powerful, cre and exp suck less.

edit: oh, Ag now has -25 city maintenence. not sure how to measure that without trying it out

so imo, roughly in order:
1. really good traits - SPI, no other trait really comes close

second tier: PRO (2x granary is that good), exp seems like a decent economic powerhouse with 2x grocer, harbor, and market, IND is still good even w/ other INDs, and ORG will still be decent even w/o 2x library

3rd tier: FIN (maybe second tier, but losing commerce on rivers means your capital is usually not taking advantage of it, which hurts), PHI (could be better if you're better at exploiting it than I am), CRE, CHA, IMP,

last: probably still AGG, but with the -25 maintenence it might be a solid third tier, not the "always the most terrible" trait its been since warlords was released and in previous rbmod versions.

so I'll do some ratings later in the week, but I'll comment on everyones re-roll choices above:

edit: actually got through 6 and have to crash, so later
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.
