We're...growing pretty well. Tarnation trades long-term optimization for short-term power; it'll be okay in the end with the banana city tile, sugar, and lighthouse lake providing all the food needed. It's bumping up crop yield a bit and isn't crushing my GNP. The demos are at full saving but you must remember culture from a few libraries and Stonehenge. I'm doing very strongly here, and the power lets me push borders confident I'm not facing and horse archer swarms yet. Dog-and-spear garrison ought to stop most things butt cold at this point. Basically, I'm right where I want to be for this time period of game.
