I think the only issue we need to resolve at this point in the game is that of Scandinavia. I'm going to insist that any eventual deal involve myself obtaining nwy. On the other hand, I have no particular interest in either launching a naval invasion to take stp from you in the near future, nor even swe.
Peaceful nwy / swe split for now? Only wrinkle is I can't current speak much as to what Germany is going to do as of yet.
This is blunt, but I think bluntness is the best way to actually figure out what any deals should be. The only justification for obfuscating vagueness in my mind is preparation for a backstab.

I can agree to a NWY/SWE split, but it would need to be agreed that you take NWY with a fleet, not an army. That's my price for agreeing this split. If I see a British Army in Scandanavia early in this game, I will deem it as an extremely hostile move and react accordingly.
If these terms can be agreed, I am prepared to work with you on potential gains versus Germany or France, but trust must be established early if we could hope to make a successful job out of it.

Dtay seems very forthright and demanding so far, so I imagine he may have already demanded one of the low countries from you to try and gain cooperation - he has already done that for me with Norway.

It looks like my main decision this turn is do I stab Turkey, and if I do, how much?
If MJW could give me terms I can agree to and believe, then I may well go the whole hog. If not, I really have to think about things are right now scooter appears most trustworthy, yet also the most vulnerable.
The North seems decently safe for now, though shall see how things go.

Looks like MJW is on board with a potential defeat of scooter followed by a stab of Austria. As crazy as it may seem, MJW may well be my best ally for this game.

It really was the option I didn't want to take, but I have committed fully to stabbing scooter. I hate breaking agreements but sticking with this one nets me nothing advantageous in the game.
I wanted to work with him but MJW wants too much to switch sides and with scooter likely giving me free pass into BLA this turn, I had to switch sides to get the quick kill. A long 2v2 stalemate won't help me and I remain hopeful that I can get MJW on my side versus Rowain after this attack given that it would be harder for us to stab each other.
I fully expect that this, or my assumptions on MJW, will bite me in the arse sometime in the near future

Stabbing Turkey is still on and doable and probably the best option, but that Italian army in Tri gives a real possibility of sending Austria crashing down. It may be part of the Key Lepanto, but if it suddenly wasn't and he held there, he would hold a crucial centre and would have got it very cheaply.
Rowain could be stopped from holding BUL & GRE and he may not move on Serbia. With him not holding TRI, that could cripple him, especially if I take RUM.
I'm not sure how much of this can get pulled off, and I don't trust Germany to let me have Sweden, even though I'm offering to vacate it afterwards. England certainly can't be trusted and is definitely moving their army to Norway. I'll be stunned if they take it with a fleet.
I have no real clue how this year ends right now. Just have this feeling that whichever side I take, someone will jump to the other side and we'll be stuck in a 2v2

This is one mess. I'm pretty screwed in the North as it totally sounds like ENG & GER are in bed together.
GER has said they are definitely bouncing me in SWE and ENG has broken his agreement with me and is putting an army in Norway.
ITA is pretty much crazy. I've thrown my lot in with scooter to take on Austria and just got to hope MJW actually understands reason and joins in. Otherwise we all might as well say goodnight.

scooter told you that he would give all his centres to me to eat you on side. I suggested that plan. This was exactly how we agreed the plan would go. It looks like a full stab on Turkey, he gets pissy to get you on side and we draw Austria out of position with your predictable lepanto and we then turn the tables on him.
You can either stick with Austria and be stuck in a 2v2 stalemate that basically dooms us all as Germany & England are already fully set in the other theatre, or you attack Austria with us, get a quick victory and I guarantee that the final two people in our theatre will be me and you as all he strategy articles say that a RI alliance is one of the strongest.
Its up to you, but swapping sides is the only way to ensure a quick victory.

Austria cannot be trusted to keep their word when your home centres are so close. Nor can they stop the Eng/Ger alliance in the north.

Work with me on this and take out Rowain and I guarantee noone else will offer you a better set of terms or chance of winning than I will.

Yes. I possibly can trust scooter a bit more, but he's a better players and BLA is a problem.
MJW strikes me as an extreme realist, and an IR alliance would be the strongest long term play as it's much harder for us to stab each other.
This all depends on Italy's moves this turn. I can't do any more to convince him.
