I went ahead and set the turn timer to 26 hours. That should be enough.

I lost connection to the host while playing my turn. I did complete unit moves and such, so you can all just let the turn roll when whatever happened gets sorted out.

I need to do a reload to Borche's logout save...I was trying to send a response to a diplo message and didn't realize when you hit enter it doesn't just send the message...it accepts the deal, which was not the outcome that I intended. Apologies! I'll post more details in my thread for the lurkers to make sure there are no shenanigans.

Um, something peculiar has happened and a reload may be in order. I'll post details in my thread, because I think I'm going to need lurkers to help. Apologies.

A reload is needed but I don't know what login or logout save will fix the problem. I think players should not log in and play further until this gets resolved since they'll probably have to replay anything that's done from here.

Was the game left paused, or does that matter at this point?

I don't know if it's paused or not, without either logging into the server or waiting 5 minutes and checking the time on Civstats. But we don't want the turn to roll. I've been away from my computer today and don't really have a clear consensus about what to do (or not do) here. If someone can pause and prevent the turn from rolling that would be good.
