update on the internet provider switch; the router for the new provider hasn't arrived yet. supposed to be going live tomorrow; hopefully my outgoing provider will not switch me off prematurely. if they do, it's beyond my control if the turn is stuck with me.
update on the update; the router arrived late, having also been delivered incorrectly (although I did meet a not unattractive female neighbour ) and I've spent most of the day offline
But, as you can guess, I'm back online
So, Sian, what's the hold-up with the turn?

part being generally busy, part being specifically busy with getting ready for my 30th birthday party on Friday, with the small slots i have not fitting sitting around trying to figure out what to do in such a complex game ... part other games rudely stealing time, when i boot them to have half an hour to 'cool down' which overly easily turns into several hours ... good ol' one more turn ...

Sorry for the slow turn. Each turn is pretty impactful at the moment and takes awhile to play. I don't want to rush them at this point.

Seriously Sian! Just looked at mistbinder & the save's been with you for 17 hours & counting. Taking an average of 24 hours regularly to play the turn is ridiculous! I sent it to you during your appointed time slot, what's your excuse this time? Yes, the turn may be complex; you've only got yourself to blame for being at war with everyone else at the same time!
If you're fed up playing, shall we call it? if not, play the turn in a timely manner.
Update: the latest - 19 hours & counting:

In fact, no you didn't... you sent it just at 23:12 CET, and my appointed (expected) time slot is from 15-23 CET ... and as i just headed to bed, and the complexity of the save means that I'm no longer able to play mid-day without losing even more efficiency than I already do by sheer complexity... Be happy that the save still goes around once a day at average (except for Sundays which I already at the start mentioned might be a tad uncertain)
While i'll admit to playing them later in the window than I did earlier on, the cold hard fact is that I've still played within the window

All that said, I'm fair with calling it to Khan ... the complexity and his repeated sniping of my cities have gotten to me, paired with getting tied up in wars with stubborn 'minors' leaving me to thin spread

I think this is what you're looking for...
Also, let's not end on a sour note. This game's overall pace was fantastic and may have been one of the quickest from start to end.
