Genuinely no handcrafted city sites, just checked over to make sure no overpowered locations. And at least you have found more early happy! Have you been checking for the forest coast? The game doesn't always show the forest in water well. Might be worth putting the tile values on.

If you had handcrafted it you couldn't have done much better. 4 tiles from the capital, PH, river, 4 resources in the first ring including an early happy and two foods. I'd have preferred to have the whale in the BFC (and not only accessible from a city on the sheep) but I can't ask for a better site.

Oh and the tile east of the whale (so inside the BFC) is a forest, so it's 1/1/3 for now and 2/1/3 with a lighthouse. That city is going to be AMAZING

Glad you like it! Remember the map is pretty homogenous so your land is a good approximation of others land so everyone will have the same sites!

Yes on a 1 tile island in the east. So not the easiest spot to reach

The whale makes me wonder if settling 1S this future city is a better choice. Still thinking about it (if this was RtR I would go for the southern site, but whales are available are optics in BTS)
