New plan: Wait two more turns, get a free Great Artist from Music, combine that with the Great Priest that spawns next turn in Mom's Knife, launch second Golden Age and revolt to Rep+OR for free.
Apart from that, I think next it's time to start thinking about defense. Other players might get jelly.

Nice work. Where to after music? Any more wonders?

Thx for the warning. I'll probably still go construction for catapults, create a stack of those + either war chariots or maces for clean up. Just won't be as good against knights as elephants would have been.
No plans for world wonders atm apart from the Statue of Zeus. If I build anything else it'll be something that gets a bonus modifier.

T78 - Did you think this was a no-diplo game?

Worth a shot. Original plan was to give it away for free to build relations, which I might still revert back to if he doesn't take the offer.

T79 - Keep the snowball rolling

Launched second GA, revolted to Rep+OR. For the third one I probably need the free GM from Economics. Maybe go Liberalism and get Eco for free? I'll have a GP and a GS from my cities by then.

Greenline didn't accept my offer last turn frown Then again he didn't even accept OB before TGL so I guess that was expected. Not much of a people person.

Settled Breakfast. I'm running an artist there until the iron is improved. Already took back the silver tile when I ended my turn.
The reason why I went for the hill was for defensive bonuses and because Greenline settled forward toward me on flat land instead of his hill.

I'm taking a small break from spamming settlers in the capital now that it has a higher happy cap. Forges will be nice because they'll give an extra +3 happiness from owning gems, silver and gold.
That last settler is going for the gold and furs spot in the tundra.
The next wonder I'll build will probably be the Notre Dame.

You've managed to secure a bit more than your 25% of land there. Still quite a few cities to settle that aren't fillers too! You've saved a fair few cap forests, for anything in particular?

Nope, my workers just always had something more important to do. It might have been best to build more workers and make use of those forest chops right after maths bonus kicked in. Since I do still have em around, I'll probably pre-chop them and use them for emergency units or a world wonder.

Well they are worth more with a beuro cap. I'm sure you can chop out something interesting.

T82 - Forging fun

We got the Statue of Zeus. War weariness can be a real bitch, I'm talking from experience (for once).

Settled Godhead. Yep I'm improving the Gold before the food. More interested in raising the happy cap elsewhere than in developing this city optimally.
Although the happy cap is already getting pretty high.

Spear wasn't there yet so I had to protect the workers with axe and WC lol. Hopefully Greenline has a spear in his city so he doesn't freak out.
I'm losing the incense. I could either develop the city or run the culture specialist to fight for the resource. I chose to let the resource go, I can live without that particular one.

Building forges everywhere for the happiness boost. The actual purpose of the forge is just a nice bonus!

Golden Age graphs. Might be a bit on the low side on my end due to high amount of specialists? But whatever disguises my strength is welcome.
Tech-wise I'm doing Feudalism and Guilds next. Then probs Banking, Engineering, Paper, Education, Liberalism in some order.

I think it's time for war, picklepikkl's power graph is increasing at a rate that is higher than I'm comfortable with. Luckily I just got Guilds and I can get Engineering in 3 turns, so I can handle anything but a mega-stack (which he won't have yet).

No one has managed to get the marble up then?

I definitely made an error with those rices. Probably should have put 4 out...
