I have downloaded the software and sync with steam already and I will try to join the game after work today (in about 8 hours).

When it comes to the actual game, would you like to set it up and go first? I think we efficiently hammered out the turn order above, and so should be good to go on that front when the time comes.
I'm going to guess that Sullla will need at least a week or so to roll maps and find ones that work (If you need more time Sullla, please let me know).
With that in mind, the target date to start will be: April 29th
You civ picks are due by: April 22nd. Post them in this thread when you are done.
These dates are flexible, and if you would rather they be moved up or back, post it. I will edit the first post to include current settings and selection deadlines.
This gives Sullla a week to play with maps before sending the starting save to Singaboy. I apologize in advance, as I will have some inconsistent turn-playing for a couple days in mid-May when I wrap up the semester and move, but it shouldn't be more than a short interruption, and I would rather get the game started sooner rather than later so people can start staring at their starts and working out moves.
I think the only outstanding settings/rule decision is the adoption of Sullla's house rule. With no new posts on it, I'm going to assume the current positions stand with 1 for, 2 abstentions, and 2 against. With that in mind, I think we play without the house rule. I'm a little concerned, but I suppose this is one of the first Civ6 MP games played on the site and games and unrestricted games like this will help clarify rule-sets and best practices for the future.
As an aside, I booted up Civ6 last night for the first time in a couple months, and the interface changes are really nice. Effects on the tech and Civic Trees now have icons!

I am fine with the dates and rules.
As for setting up the game , I am fine too. There are a couple of questions as I have yet to launch the game. Does it matter in which sequence you people join the game for the sequence of turns to be played or does it have to be the same (there was some indication there). We should have a look at this and make sure, if there is such a rule, to follow that order. Can we confirm the play order?

Wodan
oledavy
Is that the right order?
Secondly, so far I was only able to choose the following:
DLCs of the game (Aztecs only)
Number of slots, number of humans (5 each)
game speed: standard
map type: There is an option for custom here, which I will try out for this game as I hope this will give me the option to choose the map generated by someone
map size: I chose standard, but I would assume this should follow the previous point
I guess once I start the game. there should be more option popping up such as the usual victory conditions, barbarians, goody huts etc. I am not too sure where the custom map would be coming in. I will test this once I get home from work (in about 14 hours)
Does anyone have more experience with those settings?

Regarding the order: Woden mentioned in page 4 that it is better that oledavy plays before him.
Only thing that I know from TheArchduke, he lives in CET timezone, same as me. But I don't know his preferred time to play, so at that point it is still unclear.
I did mention that I am mostly sitting behind computer between 6pm-12am CET/CEST.
But to be on safe side my preferred time widow is this 7pm-12am CET/CEST (5pm-10pm GMT currently).

Let's get a confirmed preferred play window from Archduke before finalizing turn order then.
kjn has suggested in my thread a better way to do picks would be to privately message them to Sullla by the deadline. If nobody has any objections, I think this would be the best method.

Thanks guys for joining so fast. I will start this game in the evening here (around 10hrs from now) and let you all know what settings I am encountering.
I do hope to get the chance to include our own map and be able to choose the detailed settings such as victory condition, barb setting etc.
By the way, I think a small map with 10 city states might be very crammed. Well, let's hope Sulla will create a nice map. By the way, oledavy, are you suggesting, we should privately tell Sulla our civ preference instead of letting the team know?
