Turn 59: Big turn!
Started off the turn with meeting Archduke's Netherlands. I offered him friendship (kinda ironic given the real history between the Dutch and Indonesia). I'm not looking for war yet. The big problem I foresee is him blocking my access to the fish I want to improve there for the CelNav boost. I do have some faith saved up though, so we could get a Galley out if the need arrises (we are at 170 faith, 140 cost).
Speaking of faith:
We did it! First Great Prophet is ours. I was worried we might get sniped by someone building 'Henge but it ended up being unfounded fears. I founded Islam, as Indonesia is actually the largest Islamic population in the world (12.7 percent of all Muslims on the world call the islands home). I went DotF, of course, always take it if it's not banned! I went Choral Music alongside it, we need culture income and I'd like to spend our faith on boats rather than on Campus/Theatre buildings with Jesuit.

Arch rejected the proposal, I faithbought the Galley to show we are not toothless on the water if he wants to try shenanigans like Oledavy's snipe of Jester's city way back when. He has 178 militay score, almost double ours, I'm close to finishing two Settlers right now, after that I'll put out some Warriors and a second galley (maybe faithbuy that?).

Wilna here has Archduke's free envoy, meaning that this is probably his island. We could try to boat it, though it in't a good city it might just be worth razing it to deny Archduke the free culture. If we can raize it before he caps it it also denies him a free city.

I settled our 4th city, Sateh Udang (shrimp on a stick), I assigned Governor Liang to it to get a 4 charge Builder. I'll swap over Magnus after it's done and chop the two stones into the Harbour I've already zoned in (they're on hills so it has no downside to chop).
An overview of the empire and future plans, I've 6 more cities planned on the island one of which you can already see a settler going towards. I'm building two shrines, the faith and culture income (due to Choral Music) will suit us nicely, and allow us to faithbuy a Galley to shore up our military a bit more.

Turn 70, which comes out to both be the turn we settle city #5 and a nice even number for a score overview
New city is Daging Smoor, a stew based around beef, Ketjap Manis (Indonesian sweet and salty soy sauce) and a bunch of hot spices.
Here's our scores, I forgot to check if it counted the city in this, though I suspect no. Overall we are only slightly behind the pack, with a very strong religion bagged. Which is about to pay out as we get +6 culture over the next few turns. We are no slough on the military front either, with two galleys (faithbought the second on turn 68), two warriors and three Archers. With the added faith income from the double shrine I'm going to purchase a bunch of Quadrimes to upgrade into Jonks once we get mercenaries (Note to self, hammer out Ancient units with Agoge to meet the 8 unit requirement for that civic!)

met "wgh" (Rowain), just a Galley for now, so no idea where he is.
Also spotted some borders on the Island to our west. Red White means Emperor K's England. Now the only one left to find is Chevaliers Arabia.

Cartago captum est... Came with a Harbour, a Granary and a Monument. Nice pickups all around!
I just realised I forgot to mention I settled a city a few turns ago. It's still "Jakarta" haven't thought of an Indonesian delicacy yet. Any suggestions?
Speaking of Settlers:
Magnus CHOP
A cool 9 turns of production saved.

Looks like Emperor K is going for a Warhammer Fantasy Battle based naming scheme (or Warhammer Total War, which also uses the old Non-Age of Sigmar characters)
