After GHOST, the word that comes to mind is THEATRE, for the Phantom of the Opera, a popular and long-running musical. Then DEATH or AIR.

Ghost for certain. Then I like Theater, as a reference to the Phantom of the Opera. Air or Death for the final word.

A minor point: I slightly prefer AIR to DEATH as our third word, because gliding through AIR is very specific to Phantom, whereas there are probably many possibilites for GHOST/DEATH/THEATRE. Hamlet, for example.

Black DEATH seems to be the strongest candidate.
Blackberry is type of BERRY.

I feel less strong about these two:
CONTRACT can be black.
Your computer can have black SCREEN.

In regards to the sand, Sandbox not working make me favour COMPOUND over BAR.
I have no idea what last word could be. Well, I think it can't be PARK because the connection is children's park = sandbox, right? It's likely someone who clue PARK on these grounds will also see BOX connection. So I guess SLIP for third word?
