Actually, that was a bad micro, we'd have really poor development looking forwards. I made a less aggressive micro plan that gets us oracle and 3 cities at turn 52, but 5 cities by 62.
Also, perhaps monarchy first would be preferable? We have a really excellent capital and it would be a shame letting those 5 river tiles go uncottaged.

I KNOW THIS IS A WALL OF TEXT BUT PRETTY PLEASE READ IT
New micro, most of it copied over from old one:
I have this as a micro option:
TECH PATH -> BW, Wheel, Hunting, Myst, Med, Priest
Turn 6: Finish WB, Finish Agri, start Scout or Warrior, start BW. Work Boat makes fishing nets, work the fish tile for 5fpt.
Upon growth on turn 11, work PH forest to finish warrior/scout on the next turn.
Start worker 8 turns, switch to working the corn for the extra commerce.
Turn 20, worker pops, start farm.
Start on another warrior.
(Yes, we need protection and fogbusting, the micro ddooes pay off imho...)
On growth on turn 23, switch to plains hill. we are pop 3, working corn, fish, ph.
Turn 24: Start Settler since warrior is complete, farm is complete.
Turn 25: Move worker to chop 1S.
Once chop is done, start mine.
Turn 31 settler complete, send to 1E of pig.
Start on a work boat
Turn 32 mine complete, switch to it.
Turn 33, settle, start warrior in new city. Send worker to the other forested hill
Start settler once workboat complete, it'll have a chop.
Turn 42, settler complete send to 3W of capital (thisis why workboat...) I think Priesthood should complete about now, start oracle and pottery.
This gives us Oracle turn 50.
THE ALTERNATIVE MICRO
basically, instead of a workboat, build a worker, and the second settler goes to some other location, presumably in Ruff's direction. I think that makes things worse by 2 turns, but it allows a worker to go and pasture the pig of the second city, which would otherwise have a slow start...
So, here we go.
Same up to turn 31, start a worker.
Send worker to the pig on turn 33, plant new city.
Worker complete turn 36, send 1E, start settler
Turn 37 - Slavery switch - suboptimal, but whatever, we can resolve this later.
Turn 39 - the worker on the pig goes 1SW to mine a shared hill between rome and city #2. Chop is in.
Turn 40, start mine, move worker 1N from the hill above the fish.
Again, turn 42~ is when priesthood is done, we start the pottery.
Same time, warrior completes in city 2, start on another worker.
Send settler built on turn 43 in capital to the copper/oasis site.
Turn 44, start road below city #2
Turn 46, plant city.
Turn 49, we should have 3 mines around capital now, switch from corn to the 3rd mine for a turn 52 oracle.
Start a cottage with 1 worker. Our other wqorker has been build roads, and we shouldve gotten another worker by now to connect copper
Start on a granary in city #2
Frankly, not sure this micro plan is that optimal either, the cities are low pop, however the worker turns are much better,

Id rather grab Metal casting for a potential REP from the mids vs grabbing monarchy tbh. We have awhile till we defog everything near the capital/where ruff is though. Maybe there will be more good city sites to go after that direction?
I think the pigs city is a go-to 2nd city, but im hopeful for better food elsewhere than our current 3rd city.

Do you really want to go oracle->mid with a ruff who can choke us with insane archers and a fintourist who is infamous?
We need more scouting.

More scouting yes, But getting earlier cheap forges ( we can probably grab that gold up north, and we have silver nearby for an early +2 happy.. + forge bonus ) plus being able to run a engineer specialist for a guaranteed mids seems ... rather easy without much effort? Unless im missing something, we can still tech IW and go smash Ruff if he is unprepared.
I think Fintorist will be a bit hesitant to poke us while we have AGG praets and my uhh... "rep" i guess? But if we get mids we have hope to be able to out tech someone by running REP, or roll over someone with Police state, ect. Plus it keeps others from having those options as well.

Hmm, say you have me convinced. And I do prefer rolling over someone with police state

I'm your dedlurker, the final choice is yours. However, with the high food yield of our capital, I think there's no reason this can't work. I think we can be the ones to grab oracle...

bringing the scout from Inca land around to where the silver is and see if there is a path to FT that doesnt involve declaring war. Warrior will move east and scout for Ruff.

Next turn we will see a bit more land revealed. Thinking the warrior goes NE onto the forested hill for better vision? Scout will go SE and eventually see if there is a path along the coast.
